We dont know his ultimate budget. He did say $300-400 night. But Riviera shouldnt be no more than $100 a night on average that weekend.
I would rather stay at Stratosphere for that price.
Just a heads up to the OP, Riviera is as dead of a hotel as you can get on the strip. Its at the edge of the strip as well so all the action is going to be 1mile down the street. You are close to Encore, but thats pretty much it. Everything else is quite a walk or taxi trip away. The taxi you'll be spending 2 times a day will equal the difference on the savings if you would have just gotten a room at the Imperial Palace, which may be only $30 more than the Riviera per night.

ditto on that review of the Riv. you are in the middle of no mans land. Lame and boring hotel. If you stick with Riv I can say the rooms are clean and remodeled. Good luck .Comment

It's because we had already purchased a flight there and back and thats the hotel they offered us my friends didn't wanna spend anymore so I couldn't push them to go anywhere wasn't my choice judging by how you guys are posting it wasnt a smart 1 oh well we just really need a place to crash. Rio has huge rooms and is better for the wallet. Right now pricing is at $700/ room for May 3-7. You may want to get 2 adjoining rooms and it would still fit your budget.Comment
