Tipping.....Host and Waitresses

I think what he meant was one scenario vs. another...he's referring to what if instead of having a solid agreement, its just a verbal conversation w. a host and if it does go as planned, how much should he tip out of good faith from both parties. I would tip a decent amount, but everyone's definition of 'decent' various by a big degree.

The fact that he wrote, "and nothing more" implies that he believes the host hasn't done anything significant in obtaining him any deals, location, etc. and that he is only asking this question as he feels obligated to give a tip despite the fact that the host has done sh!t...lol

If a host is so insignificant, and adds no value to your reservation, then why use them??? You can call the main line to the venue and book a table. You can even get decent deals off of wantickets, vegas.com, ect. Drais will even let you book online.
