  • 12-14 guys...

    Hello all,

I usually end up coming to Vegas a couple of times a year but only have 6-7 of us going which makes it easy to get good tables at top end places.

However, this year I have at least 12 and possibly as many as 14 going to Vegas over the summer for a weekend of partying (all guys). We would be looking at probably doing XS, either Hak or Omnia and possibly a third night somewhere (Drais maybe).

Does this make it any more difficult to get good tables? Would be looking spending about $1k a head per night so I hope not but just not sure how the large number of people will affect getting BS.

    Thanks.

I have no experience with a group that large, but you are looking at a 12-14K budget each night. You will likely end up having the first choice of any table at that budget. I believe that is in DJ booth territory.

1k/per person a night is a HUGE budget!

You will have literally no issue anywhere at anytime getting pretty much anything. Most people come in with around $200-350 per head a guy for groups that size.

I would be VERY careful not to tell any hosts that are not JC approved about that budget because they will definitely push you to maximized pricing.

For XS you will get premier seating Friday or Saturday with that budget.
For omnia, no one knows yet.
For Hak you will get dance floor. It will be pricey but just work with JC hosts and you will get best bang for buck.

Don't forget that Hak is 40.1% tax, XS is 28.1% and Drais is 28.1%

XS also works well with handshakes on Saturdays but your minimums will take care of everything.

low end is generally 4 guys per bottle to start so 3 bottle min for 12 with bad location say 2k min.
For 7.5k- 10k min you should have one of the best tables

You will have no problem at all. The thing I would look at is do you really need 12-14k a night???? That's a lot of drinking plus a lot of drinks being poured out to women. Hope you have great closing skills.

The JC approved hosts do take care of the JC community so I would recommend staying within the family.

With that many people, depending on how many new friends you'd like to join your table, you might be inclined to to do 2 tables within the 4-5k range. That'll be DF/Tier 1's at practically every venue. Any host would love to have 1k pp clients! Hit up any of the hosts you see referenced many times on here and they'll take excellent care of your group.

and unless something's changed I think Drai's is still 32.1%?

I've done two tables on many occasions. You should still be able to get two primetime tables right next to each other with that budget. I think having the extra space is worth it. Even the big tables aren't very big when you have that many guys. You want room for the woman, right?

Thanks everyone, good to know (and well noted on the JC-approved hosts point).

I should point out that it would be 1k pp all in (so would include any grat, shake, tax etc.). Guess that is still about 8k-9/10k tab per night depending on venue. Also yes, would definitely consider two tables together to have a bit more space.

By the way, are there any nights which are just EDM at Drais? Went on a Saturday a few months ago and it was a mix of open-format/EDM/Hip-Hop.

To anewer your last question about Drais, yes it just depends on the DJ. If you look at their calendar for the next month there are weekend nights that will be EDM (3LAU, Borgeous) and weekend nights that will be hip hop (Busta Rhymes). Drais mixes it up so you have to check the schedule to see what type of night you are in for!

I would do 2 groups of 6 in my past experience, doesn't make it so overwhelming and easier to get some ladies over to hang out. It's a little intimidating with 12 or so guys all hitting on the same few girls. 2 tables at different parts of the club and mix it up. Divide and conquer!!

Your more prime spots will be in the 5k min range at most places, some 3-4k spots are good also, so you prob only need 500-600 per man each night to get really good tables at the top tier clubs.
