I am the opposite to you. We had already booked that weekend before the fight was announced. So we got the hotels and flights at a decent rate.
But I presume the price of tables at clubs and pools will be higher than normal unfortunately. I would imagine that prices would drop again if the fight doesn't actually materialise though. I have another few friends who are waiting till a week or so before the trip to book, to see if they can get a cheap last minute deal just for the weekend. But I think that will only be possible if the fight isn't on...
same here i booked for this weekend and then fight was announced, i've already noticed the price of presale tickets go up at EBC but most venues haven't announced yet so i don't want to commit

Mayweather has two fights left on his PPV contract so he fights someone May 2nd and in Sept. this year.
Then he could always do his "own" ppv and open the new MGM arena in May of 2016.
The pac numbers are maybe 3 million ppv @ $100 each = $300m + $40 million live gate I think it happens the $ is so great
Booked my flight yesterday based on some early news this was going to actually happened. I'm at Wynn for $386 a night, but i'm sure it will only get worse. Lol.
those two probably had it all planned out and they were just working out the logistic$$$ of the fight. Even the low-end Total Reward Casinos like Harrahs and Flamingo are going for $400 a night on May 2nd.
As much as I wanna be there, I can't justify the costs! I rather take two trips during the Summer!
