I have another few friends who are waiting till a week or so before the trip to book, to see if they can get a cheap last minute deal just for the weekend. But I think that will only be possible if the fight isn't on...
same here i booked for this weekend and then fight was announced, i've already noticed the price of presale tickets go up at EBC but most venues haven't announced yet so i don't want to commit

Mayweather didn't announce during NBA All Star Game
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kq0eVg9LuY

From MGM hotel prices it looks like they think a fight is on.

        Guerrero was announced 2/19
        Maidana was announced 2/24

Seems like Mayweather will definitely fight someone on May 2nd.....

Mayweather has two fights left on his PPV contract so he fights someone May 2nd and in Sept. this year.

Then he could always do his "own" ppv and open the new MGM arena in May of 2016.
The pac numbers are maybe 3 million ppv @ $100 each = $300m + $40 million live gate I think it happens the $ is so great

Didn't MGM sell out a couple weeks ago? Some people must have backed out thinking it wasn't going down.

those two probably had it all planned out and they were just working out the logistic$$$ of the fight. Even the low-end Total Reward Casinos like Harrahs and Flamingo are going for $400 a night on May 2nd.

As much as I wanna be there, I can't justify the costs! I rather take two trips during the Summer!
                              Next trip: ???

Wynn still available, although it's now $899 for both Friday and Saturday.
