If you plan on coming EDC weekend, I highly recommend going to the event at least one night. Its definitely an experience all in itself. You won't regret it. You can take a shuttle or drive yourself over. From the strip it's about 30-45 min depending on traffic. Try leaving earlier so you don't get stuck in it, it's a mess. The line-ups at the clubs are just as epic as in the event itself. Some clubs do after-hours for after the carnival so people can keep raving but I'd recommend taking a small nap so you don't miss out on the crazy pool parties. Other than the event, the pool parties are definitely my favorite part. The vibe is amazing all around this weekend. CANNOT WAIT.

Unfortunately they are only selling three day passes for 2015.


I got my EDC tickets yesterday! Will be my first one! As it gets closer I'll be looking to do bottle splits with people on here for pool parties and also hitting up Noah!

A lot of people purchase them now since they're less inexpensive and end up selling them closer to the date. Mostly Sunday since not many people can handle all 3 days.. but if you can last the whole weekend, I commend you. I haven't.

Zury, would you happen to know if EDC will be doing the "Halfway to EDC" party @ Marquee Dayclub Dome during President's Day weekend again this year?

Not sure on the exact date but I'll keep you all posted. The last one was EPIC!!

Got my ticket yesterday too. Will be my first one as well at age 38 lol. Going with at least two friends, maybe more. Definitely looking at some pool party splits later on too, unless the group gets big enough to carry its own weight.

It would be nice to break up the EDC 3 day ticket and sell one day off but the website says non transferable this year. I hear they might be doing microchip tickets or wristbands so I assume you store your credit card info in them? I could be wrong too. I guess we will find out as it gets closer.

It will be a wristband with microchip and If I understand it correctly you will have to purchase and add "Daisy Dollars" to it before going as that will be the only accepted form of payment at the festival grounds. Your credit card will not be directly linked as in u have unlimited money on it that goes directly out of your card so if you give your wristband to someone else they could only spend whatever you loaded onto it.

will be interesting to see how it plays out- there are always people who can't make sunday. Who knows you might even get one free because you can't guarantee it will work?
I know someone who had the artist thing last year its more like a waiting area- basically all the djs are just in and out.
I would not recommend you can't see anything.

Backstage for EDC is pretty boring - nothing to do back there other than hang at an artists trailer if you know one. Technically you can go on stage with some bracelets but the stage managers have final say in that and if you aren't a manager or spouse of a dj low odds they'll let you up there.

Much better to get a bracelet that gives access to the elevated bottle service area over the main stage. the 'cabana' area up there is the best to go into in you can.

Zury you won't be able to take off the bracelet if that's what they are going to next year.... just like every other festival that uses bracelets. I suppose you could cut it and try and tape it/sew it onto the wrist of someone else that's not really realistic IMO.

if they are going cashless, there would be no way for buyer of a bracelet to add funds to it. You couldn't buy anything at the event since it would be registered by the person that went day(s) 1 and 2.
