Graphic Tee Shirt or plane v and jeans is the way too go. The overdressed, button down look gets a bit middle America.

gucci polos are nice but I personally would stay away from the ones with logos on them. looks a little tacky and try hard in my book.

Ooops, too late, have had it for a while but very rarely wear it. Guess I'll look tacky.

Off topic a little but still a question on fashion, what's everyones opinion on footwear for the pool club? Fresh pair of kicks or flip flops?

Tier 1's don't take to kindly to polo's. maybe if you have b/s but i've seen people get turned away from Marquee with polo's door man sent to guys to the store to buy a button up.

in terms of looking nice i think 1) if you have the right fit 2) if it's clean (don't wear that black shirt that has been through the wash a few times) 3)and if the colours and patterns and textures go well together you've set yourself up for success. I think the last point is where you differentiate yourself

IMO suits to the club always looks like you're trying to hard, especially if the tie is on. most guys i know that wear suits professionally (bankers, lawyers) can't wait for an opprotunity to throw on a pair of jeans.. But on the other hand girls eat that guy in suit ish up so i can't hate on it (mostly gold diggers tho)

Will this work, charcoal button down, black vest and tie worn loose, nice jeans and low top all black Chuck Taylor's? I have dress shoes , but I really like the way the chucks look.

You're probably fine, but if you're not getting a table I'd go with dress shoes just to be absolutely certain you won't have an issue. Nothing worse than waiting in line for a while and then not getting in.

I usually have fitted Jeans ( 7 for all mankind or Diesel), a button down from one of the companies and some comfortable dress/sport shoe (Rockports).

I hair off topic, no pun intended, but what is everybody's facial hair status? Fresh shave everyday or a 1,2, 3 day scruff?!
