A couple things:
If you are going in the Summer, I think it's likely the Above and Beyond will be playing on Thursday or Sunday nights. Hakk will probably save Friday and Saturday for bigger names like Calvin Harris and Tiesto. With that said, you could get away with a much lower minimum on Thursday and Sunday. If you don't really care about foot traffic, I would highly recommend the Mezzanine tables (the ones directly in the middle are the best, in my opinion). Even with this location, you shouldn't have trouble meeting people. Don't be lazy. Explore the club... You've got the lounge, the hip hop room, pavillion, and two floors on the main room.

If you don't feel like throwing in the cash for a table, I would recommend seeing if you can get on a guest list or purchasing a pre sale ticket. The venue is a little cramped, but not much different from big festivals. One of the things I like about A&B is they always play a very "authentic" set in vegas, whereas some other trance DJs will change up their Vegas sets a little.

How easy is it to explore the main area if you have a table in Ling Ling CLub area? Our group has more people who like open format but a few others would like to experience the big room environment for some of the night.

Main dance floor looks small and always super packed in pics and vids so I want to know if it's doable to enjoy both yet have a table at Ling Ling.

Ling ling is not open format -- it is hip hop. As far as exploring the rest of the place, it is very similar to the setup at Marquee. The two rooms are on different levels.
