I just got my confirmation for my ticket!! So pumped. Gonna do the hotel thing tonight....my friends and I are going in Friday to Wednesday....going to do some R&R after the festival for a few days.

Just a tip and tell all your friends.. don't procrastinate - book everything ASAP. Every day going by means higher prices on hotels, air, tix, everything.

EDC weekend is epic vegas. Go to the festival, clubs are usually open right after the last edc set, and afterhours. The pool parties are definitely ones to remember with all the edc people running around.

Couldn't resist the temptation of the festival itself, just bought tickets for me and 3 mates. Should be a great experience and looking forward to having one crazy weekend.

Those pool parties you guys are talking about, are they specifically for EDC? Would having an EDC ticket help in any way?
Or are they just your everyday vegas pool parties, but with the headlining DJs spinning at the pools too ..?

So im guessing not much sleep for those few days haha - pool parties by day and EDC at night.

EDC is from Dusk till Dawn- roughly 7pm-530am at Las Vegas Motor Speedway- Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

The pool parties are separately ticketed at Wet Republic, Encore Beach Club, Daylight, Marquee Beach, Tao beach, Hard Rock Pool from roughly 12pm-6pm. The DJs playing the pools will be announced 30-60 days out-staring the beginning of May.
A lot of the headline DJs at EDC will play a pool party.

I'm going to Vegas for EDC for 10 nights starting 14th June.
Am I right in thinking the week leading up to EDC there will be pool parties mid week and good DJs on, or will it be just the weekends?

Using last year as an example- edc pre-parties will start around Thursday
You could hit Eclipse pool party Wednesday night
There will probably be a bass rush event Thursday Night, Hakkasan will be open Thursday night
Encore Beach/Wet Republic will probably be open Thursday day.

Only just found out that is EDC when I'm in Vegas with a few mates from the UK. Would you say its a good thing or bad thing or no difference as we wont be going to the carnival.

If you don't mind spending the money, I'd recommend attending the carnival. It's definitely an experience you'll never forget, even if you go for a day. But if you don't get a chance to, the clubs do it big that weekend so you'll have a great time regardless.
