I'd use your passport to be on the safe side (you may encounter the odd douche of a doorman)

no need of carrying your passport around.
my european ID card worked perfectly last year on every single venue (bars, dayclubs, nightclubs, ...)
just stick to the 3 things which are all the same in size and you are fine everywhere you go: credit card, ID, room key (in no particular order )

So far my driving license is working in buying booze. Only one time we got denied, he rather wanted passports. We haven't been to clubs yet, but it worked when we were going to the Palms Pool when Ludacris was performing, plus on bars and other shops.

We went to Hakkasan couple days ago, and to LAX yesterday. Didn't bring passports, so yeah, driving license is working fine

I've never had a sunburn before, so I don't know what the deal is when you get it, but I think I have it now... my skin is peeling on shoulder/back, and it's making me concerned because it looks pretty bad to me. I am a brown guy so it's pretty visible. It's probably a sunburn, right? I was at Palms Pool on friday, but it's only yesterday that I noticed this...

For sunburn get some aloe gel with lidocane from Walgreens or CVS! Pure aloe stuff will work wonders! Apply to burn a few times a day. A burn with peeling sucks but isn't something to worry about. Blisters are another thing entirely and signify sun poisoning which can be an issue if you continue to be outside.

Sunscreen 30+ SPF And aloe gel for the balance of your trip! Enjoy.
