For any Vegas clubbing virgins (or people who have never been but are debating), I would say XS should always be a must see. The whole experience of the Wynn-Encore complex plus the club itself is just so full of 'wow factor' for first timers. Not to be missed imo. Almost like when a sightseeing tourist discovers the Bellagio fountain show for the first time. Mesmerising.

I think hakkasan is going to crash. Some terrible reviews on yelp for such a new club feel light. Xs and Marquee will rule supreme for some time yet. In regard to not trusting yelps reviews then you have to ask why why Xs reviews are so much better

If I had to personally choose myself, I would check out Light, but only b/c I've been to XS but Light's brand new and I have never been. So that would be my motivation for choosing it. That probably isn't too helpful but I can't really comment on Light vs XS without ever having been.

Friday is a great club night, I wouldn't stress over it too much, and the way Vegas is, it's always nice to have tentative plans setup, but that city when you get there has a way of laying waste (and not necessarily in a bad way) to the best laid plans.

ah silly me, totally slipped my mind that Light is still new. I convinced a few of my buddies to go and I want to show them what Vegas is all about. Thanks I'll look into Light.

I was thinking same thing. I know u can't go by exactly what Yelp says but still-not what u want to see.I am leaning to checking out Light. I have been to XS, Surrender plenty of times. Never been to Marquee so probly there and Light in 2 weeks.
