I guess that could be problematic, one might have the tendency to over pour seeing there are multiple bottles to be had.

We paid up front last year, and they still brought the things out as we ordered, but some clubs might have different policies.

P.S. it also may have been your server trying to get you to drink the bottles faster so you'd order more.

Had a server (not in vegas) open a bottle and pour out the whole bottle in doubles while we weren't paying attention... needless to say we were not too happy with that.

Just like any other business they have a break-even point to cover staff, building, maintenance, and entertainer expenses. Demand drives table prices, and they'll get as much as they possibly can for each table each night. You can be assured prior to opening a new club, or booking talent for the next year they look closely at what they can realistically expect to get for each tier of table and plan expenses accordingly. It can be highly profitable for sure...but a big gamble, and the floor can fall out very quickly.

About the auto gratuity... I'm always drunk when the final bill comes, but I do remember seeing this. Are we supposed to tip the waitress above and beyond this? or is this considered the tip for them?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but the auto gratuity gets split up between the wait staff, mostly to your server. If you feel your server was above and beyond, by all means, tip above and beyond.

One tip I picked up on here is you can settle your bill with the server right when you get to the club. This way you're not stumbling drunk trying to settle your bill. Seems like a good idea to me, especially if you're pooling cash from 10 different people, do it all before hand so you don't have a wad of money in your pocket all night.

I didn't know that was possible. It will definitely save time.

Hosts share handshakes....all tips are pooled....then everyone (including management) gets a % of the tip pool.

Not all clubs are like that I don't think.
I could be wrong. But I know at least 1 place where that's just not the case.
Now...perhaps it's supposed to be that way. I dunno...but money makes some people dishonest.
Myself included.
But I'm not a host. I'm an ultra low level, bottom of the barrel, pee-on, absolute bottom ring of the ladder security guard.
