  • Best club and pool party for over 40s

    Hi
We are a group of females revelling from uk to vegas end of March 24 for a 40th bday celebration

Can you recommend clubs and pool parties that tend to attract crowds that are a bit ?older?

I ve done vegas when I was younger and I?m worried bout going into some pools and clubs with lots of 21 year old and feeling super old!

    Thanks in advance

I'm around this same age so I have your same concerns.
If you dress up sexy you won't be out of place anywhere. You will get plenty of attention.

With that said though, there are a few places I would recommend for a more mature mixed crowd.

The Barbershop at Cosmo has a hidden speakeasy at the back of the shop. They have a live band every night of the week. Been there a few times and had a great time each night. Not many 20 yos there.

Marquee at Cosmo seems to have a slightly older crowd on the weekend these days.

Tao also has a really good mix. Thursday is the best night to go there.

And since you are going in March, that is probably not the best pool season. I highly recommend Lavo Party brunch on Saturday afternoon. Most of the people there are slightly older.

Most casino Lounge Bars are a good fit for the over 40 crowd. They've definitely spiced them up over the last 5 years and added more entertainment aspects to the majority. There are a number of speakeasy as well as mentioned in the above post. A number of hotel pools have also come a long way since 10 years ago and added a party vibe as well.

Clubs: Tao Nightclub and Marquee Nightclub tend to be the more 30+ clubs
Pools: Bare and Liquid tend to also be more the 30+ crowd. Moorea is 40+ usually but also topless.

For a crowd that?s a bit older, try checking out places like The Cosmopolitan's Marquee Dayclub or The Venetian?s TAO Beach. They often attract a more mature crowd and have great vibes.

I went to a gay event in Los Angeles last year that had a similar mix. It wasn?t packed with younger folks, and everyone was there to have a good time and enjoy themselves. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it felt perfect for a more seasoned crowd. It might help to check out some reviews or ask around to find spots where people your age are likely to hang out.
