A Daylight Nightswim would be awesome...

A buddy of mine who hosts at Surrender said they've been dishing out a lot of money for talent for Wednesdays because of Light opening. Doesn't look like Light has any Wednesday shows set up besides the soft opening, though. Wonder why he told me that.

Well it looks like Light's industry night will be Sunday, but that there might be a Daylight nightswim ("Eclipse") on Wednesday. I'll update once all that is confirmed

This question comes up all the time, so I thought I would list out my suggestions based on type of music preferred and by night (roughly in order from left to right).

Here are some examples on how to use the list. Assuming that you want open format music only:

• you are only in Vegas on Tuesday. My picks for you would be:
  1. 1OAK @ Mirage, 2. Hyde @ Bellagio, 3. Pure @ Caesar’s
• you are in Vegas from Tuesday to Friday. My picks for you would be:
  Tuesday Hyde, Wednesday Chateau, Thursday Tryst, Friday 1OAK or Tuesday 1OAK, Wednesday Chateau, Thursday Haze, Friday Tryst (i.e. these lineups avoid a double-up of 1OAK on Tuesday and Friday, even though it is the best spot for open format on both these nights)
• you are only in Vegas on Friday. My picks for you would be:
  1. 1OAK, 2. Tryst, 3. Haze, 4. Tao, 5. Bellagio, 6. Pure
• you are only in Vegas on Saturday. My picks for you would be:
  1. 1OAK, 2. Tryst, 3. Haze, 4. Tao, 5. Bellagio, 6. Pure (which is identical to the above)
• you are in Vegas on Friday and Saturday. My picks for you would be:
  Friday Tryst, Saturday 1OAK (even though 1OAK is my first pick for both nights, you should aim for some variety)

Sorry it is a bit confusing... I'll re-arrange

What it intended to convey is that, say that on a Friday, the best EDM picks would be XS, Hakkasan, Light, Marquee, Surrender. On Saturday, these are the best picks again.

But if you were in Vegas for Friday and Saturday (or longer), then it would be silly to go to XS twice. So I've put together a week long schedule that gives you a mix of venues to avoid double-ups.

ocam - thanks for this list but I'm a Vegas vet and I'm completely confused lol!
Please add some more detail or another section from a guys perspective like guy/girl ratio, cause girls care more for comfort (as in places to sit) or maneuvability and music format (as if I have a clue )

I've gotten so used to the Tier 1 thru Tier 3 rating scale....megaclubs, lounges, locals vs tourist trap, milfs and old dudes like me with comb overs...blah blah...

But it definitely gives me more choices other than the usual Tao/Th, XS/Friday, Marquee/Sat carousel.
