Drais is better than Tao. They need to do something with Tao they are living off 2011. It needs a fresh take on it.

Drais is bigger and ive had better nights there. Its GA friendly too.

Hakkasan is, in my view, one of the worst spots in Vegas. I cant bare the place. Its a nightmare even if you have a table. The table HAS to be main room Dance Floor / Tier 1 on it just sucks. The Pavilion for example is a total rip off. If you are GA I imagine it'd be utter shite. Its a rabbit warren and the parts where you can go as a GA customer are so limited its ridiculous. You're treated like cattle as a GA customer and it just is not a good place to be.

So forget Hak! Choose Tao if you're lazy - its a tougher door policy in my experience. Go Drais if you can

What are your guys thoughts on guest lists? I see a lot of advertising and I've been wondering if they actually work or not I think it would could more in my favor the the average is that we will actually only be there Wednesday and Thursday, I've been looking at disco tech and they have some pretty cool guest lists. Any thoughts people?

Generally, for a group of guys, you're better of with pre-sale tickets than guest list.

          hobz,

Check out these wristbands. They give you weekend long access to Tao, Tao Beach, and Lavo from Thursday/Friday/Saturday.

I'm just gonna pile on for the fun of it. You do NOT want to go to Hak without a table. And as others have mentioned, even with a table it can suck depending on location. The layout of MGM's night club and pool in my opinion are simply awful for a GA customer.

I agree with this entirely. Without a table, you will be packed to the back, and generally frustrated because you have no room to move.

While everyone loves Encore Beach Club, Wet Republic has a lot more dissent. If you don't like being in the water I'd say it's probably not great without a daybed, and if you like being in the pool be ready for broish dudes drunkenly splashing you. It's got a very drunk, very party vibe, but that's not what everyone wants from a pool party. It's also got a lack of shade that makes it less pleasant if you don't have a reserved spot that comes with an umbrella or roof.

It is still typically ranked as the second best pool party though, and it's pretty much the only pool party besides Encore Beach Club to schedule well known DJs, so while the complaints are valid, it seems the majority of people deal with the problems and have a good time. Bring a party attitude and sunscreen and you can have a blast there, but I'd typically recommend EBC over it.
