Yeah just want to state im not saying you need $1000 a day, thats stupid and excessive I know. Its just a point I was making that whatever you want to spend, you will go over!
If you're going lower budget you just have gotta plan more and seek out the deals. It just takes some extra thought. I'm the first to admit im lazy and my budgeting is piss poor. I wake up hungry and order room service even though it costs a shit load and end up taking my room card to EBC and putting pitchers and drinks onto that. At the end of the stay its frightening when I check out!
CMJ - another thing - dont get caught out by the incidentals charge on check in. Each room will have a big incidentals charge youll have to put on a card when you check in. At Wynn/Encore its $150 a day, so when I stay 5 nights it $750 alone. You get it back of course, but it takes up to two weeks with a debit card but is usually back within days with a credit card.
For me its quite useful as I use that incidentals for my spends at pool parties, but be aware of it.
Also about walking in Vegas. Its a daft idea. Do not do it. The hotels look so close. They arent, it takes a LONG time to walk anywhere in vegas and its fucking HOT!
So if I were you id drop it to maybe 4 or 5 nights and have a little more to spend. The week nights are still cool but id rather go big on Fri/Sat/Sun than do less on those nights and go out on a tuesday for example. Maximise your potential
Also use tier 2 clubs and pool parties. Light is a fantastic place, as is Surrender, Tao, Hyde etc. All brilliant places and your money goes further. You can also save a few quid by going to other pool parties like liquid instead of EBC or Wet Republic. In fact id specifically advise against going Wet Republic as its costs are oppressive to the extreme. Dont follow DJs and expensive things that will be bucks on cover...
