Thanks for the quick break down Dnix! Is it the same pricing for all DJ's? Was looking to book a table for the first weekend of May (Calvin Harris).

fuuuuuugh....40% on top of those prices too!

Also, it'd be good to know the max amount of guests you'd be able to bring in...I'd like to know if I can bring in 15 of my closest friends to help split a table in the main room on a Friday/Sat night lol

My guess is these prices are the floor. Given their lineup they can pretty much shoot for the moon this summer, and then see how long the ride lasts.

Any questions would need to be directed at Thomas. I have no idea.

As far the 40%, not sure why that's shocking. Maquees is 38%. I'm expecting all future big name clubs to charge LET. I hope not though. 10% is a lot when your spending thousands. Didn't seem to affect Marquee though.

            Unfortunately, you're probably correct.

Seeing that Nevada's average income is $27,625 a year- wouldn't you rather have a butler for a year then a stage table for a few hours? $20000+$8000= $28000
Hopefully it comes with a free charter jet ride, free skyloft and comped meals at Joël Robuchon's

Are they charging LET at Wet?

Pretty sure It wouldn't be the first venue to sale a 20k min. And obviously Vegas income isn't a factor, or none of the venues would make it. Cali would be considered local money, not Vegas residents.

I think Wet started charging LET for certain events last year, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Is there any reason why some venues charge the LET and some don't? Are they worried the someone will come after them (down the road) for not charging the tax? If so, how come nobody else seems to care?

My guess is the state tells them upfront that they have to. Marquee was the first club to have a constant elaborate stage show. I'd expect the same at Light.

Fuk, that, I'm goin Fiddy Deep.. haha!! We all know that these are subject to change and there's a lot of comp, so there may be some adjustments after the initial kick off.

I think it depends on the number of "seating" available

Gotcha. Just asking, because a few years ago in Washington, auditors began slapping all venues that had any type of music with an extra 9.5% "Dance Tax" (long story, don't ask) that nobody had any idea existed. Some venues had tax bills in the hundreds of thousands of dollars all of a sudden. I know we're talking about vastly different dollar amounts (Seattle compared to Vegas), but the situations aren't that much different.

Thank you, I love flow charts. Based on this pretty much all the clubs are required to charge LET on drink and food sales unless their capacity would be above 7,500.
