The dance floor tables are best
Center Terrace is good...North Terrace not as much. Inside tables are still better though if you want to be right in the action.
We ended up center terrace and really liked it. The dance floor tables looked great, but the fresh air and fountain view was a big plus. Thanks everyone for all the help on this! :-)
I'm not bitchy, I'm just drawn that way.

Best location in Tao for a group of 20? Expected minimum for a group of this size on a Saturday?

        Thanks.

Anyone know how the Mezz level is at Light or is it just better to get club level?

I had table 40 or 41 Friday night at Light (tier one right side middle table) great view of dancefloor, dj booth, and plenty of space.

Ok i did some research on the JC forums. Opinions on how cabanas at Tao compare to Moat area for a large group? Are cabanas too far away from the action? How would expected minimums compare at the two locations?

I arranged my group of 5 for the Mezz level at Light (near the center of the club 3 tables from the lighting/sound booth) and we had a blast. Great view of everything going on below and never felt isolated... If you're a group of guys it could be a little bit of a drawback just because ladies don't end up there in quantity until later in the night.

Otherwise, the views and slightly lower minimum I think make it worth while. If you did want to go for club level, I'd do tier 2 or 3... the dance floor level is really loud and the walk around to get back to the bar can be a bit of a chore if it's crowded

Are you referring to the Cabanas at Tao Beach?

Tao Beach is essentially a different venue than Tao.

                    Tao Beach= Day
                    Tao= Night

I like the moat area for Tao at night. Good traffic and its usually roped off

For Hyde, dancefloor is always been amazing. But sitting in the 50s which is located right under the dj booth is a ton of fun and for smaler groups the 70s. They face the fountains, and are right above the dancefloor, so you see it all!

                          • 530/535: In my opinion, best spot in the club. You will have the best night of your life here.
                          • 600/605: Another amazing location. Just a step below 530/535.
                          • 700 or 220: If you're not sitting inside around the dance floor, I would highly recommend these tables, especially if you are on a budget. If you're a group of guys looking to meet girls, believe it or not, this is an incredible location. You get a lot of traffic, you have easy access to the dance floor, and you can go back and forth all night. On a busy night, these are excellent tables.
                          • 630: I had this table with 6 guys on a Saturday night. Honestly, it sucked. This table is way away from the action, and the table is also carved into the wall, so it's kind of hidden. This is not a good table for meeting girls. I would recommend this spot for couples if you want a more private area.
                          • 300: I've had this table for a bachelor party. Fun, but not too great. It's kind of out of the way but you get a lot of room. Not a lot of traffic in this location. A good area if you're looking to get away from the action and spread out.
We had table 430 and had an amazing time. Similar to 530/535 and 600/605. Overlooking the dancefloor. Has a ledge in front where you can have chicks (or yourself of course) dancing. In the mix without being swamped by being on the dancefloor itself. Any reason you picked 530/535 over 600/605 and over 430/435 and 540/545? I'm sure all of those tables around there are amazing, so just wondering what set that location slightly above the others.

Looking for poolside daybed location advice for Daylight. Are all poolside beds created equally or are some hit or miss spots? First assumption would be closer to the stage side of the pool is probably better for traffic, or does that area just get TOO crowded?

                              Thanks guys.

Just booked table 480 @XS for Above & Beyond Aug 17th. Going to be apart of a large bachelor party of 20 fellas. Has anyone been at this location, if so what are the pro and cons?
