Dance Floor Table at Haze or Lesser Table at Tryst on Friday Night in May

Chuck is right on... odds are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are equally as good. It might be a little busier on Saturday night. I had 700 with about 8 guys back in August on a Thursday night and it was a blast. Note the DJ now plays right on the dance floor, so you're right in the action. I was hesitant to get a table outside, but trust me this one is good.

What date are you going, and what minimum are they quoting you? Tell your friends to suck it up...it's definitely worth it. Cover is usually $30 and getting 8 guys in is tough. Fighting for a drink at the bar sucks.

We are coming down May 9th to 12th. A buddy was looking in to this but has since handed it over to me since he thinks it is too costly...he cannot find details of the host he was dealing with so I will be starting from scratch.

Right now we are looking at Friday night and I have 5 guys that are in for sure for BS. I just need to convince a couple more to make it a little more affordable. Can you sit 8 guys at 220 or 700? I guess the whole group is never sitting at the same time anyway.

Of course I would love 530 or 600 but there is no way I'll get the group to go for it. How much did 700 set you back in August, all-in?

OK, so at a 220 type table you're looking at a small booth. You can seat about 6 people max if I remember correctly. It's pretty tight, but here's the deal: You're not gonna be sitting at the table all night. Use the table as a place to hang out and grab drinks. We had 7 or 8 guys and had no problem with this table. A few were sitting down, but most were up meeting people and talking around the table and on the patio. A lot of people head outside as it gets later and as the dance floor gets packed. Or you'll have the opportunity to meet someone on the dance floor and bring them back to your table for a drink. The half-booth tables inside aren't much bigger. Also, I believe the 530/535 tables are sold together as a double. Those go for 3000-3500 min plus tips, depending on the night, if I remember correctly. All depends on demand.

We did a Thursday night B1G1 deal. You have to pay tax and tip on the free bottle. If I'm not mistaken, it the bill was around $1K out the door. It may have been a little less ($800-$1000).

I think my buddy was quoted $1600 ++ (3 GG) for 700. How does this sound?

Yeah those deals are usually offered during the week.

If you're in the $240-$260 range pp you're good. That's what I usually account for. So $1600 is 3 bottles for 8 guys...this sounds like the right amount of bottles, and when you figure tips and tax, you're right there at $250 per person. If you've got only 5 people, I would look for a 2 bottle min, but they might not want to sell 700 for 2 bottles on a Friday or Saturday night.

Honestly the $1600 sounds like a good min for that table.

If 604/402 are better, which one would you choose?

What are the minimums usually on a Thursday in the Summer?
