Haha! You couldnt pay me to go to a club where Pauly D was spinnin. Guy is a hack and wouldnt be anywhere near a Vegas club if it werent for Jersey Shore. At least Lil Jon has produced some tracks. Damn I wish A-Trak was spinnin at Surrender that night. Now that guy is a legit DJ.Originally posted by kman90 View PostFuckin hilarious and I had both to choose from for my upcoming 4th of July weekend! Thank you Vegas DJ Gods! lol!Originally posted by Sterling View PostNowhere near as bad as Lil Jon. Now THAT guy is the worst.
Correction: "DJ" Pauly D is still alive so he has my vote

From someone who knows music and a lot of these guys -Tim and his manager Ash are really solid and he attracts some seriously high caliber talent. Top it off he is a nice kid. Sorry I am missing his Kandlyland party tonight in LA. Anthony know you worked there, but I have seen him do 5 sets there and several at MDC as well - always liked it. Also always have a great time when Seb is on deck.

Avicii = great producer, average dj at best.... the biggest problem is many of the 'big' djs all play the same tracks nowadays.... they need to work in some creativity.
Chuck -def check out Madeon if you get a chance... i saw him at the WMC this year... dude has mad skills for a 17 (18?)-year old!
his 5-minute mix with 93 tracks that just came out!

Guys all these DJ's you mention are pretty pony.
Avicii, Deadmau5 - all those lot. Swedish "House" mafia are all utter rubbish. They're not DJs. They use Ableton to mix.
If you want proper DJs that can mix you need proper house DJs. Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Carl Cox, DJ Sneak, Todd Terry, Masters At Work and so on. All these new kids arent really DJs they are producers so play their own stuff its not house music.
Essentially, you pay peanuts - you get monkeys. For some reason the big clubs in Vegas seem to lean towards booking producers rather than DJs. It beats me...

Maaayyybe....probably would have to be last minute if all tables weren't sold. From what I understand the typical bottles/person ratios don't necessarily apply when the likes of Avicii are playing. Never hurts to try!
