Yeah, because your drug dealer tells you the white powder that's in an unidentifiable capsule is "112% pure molly" is so much safer. At least with tabs you can look them up and know youre being poisoned prior to taking them. People are going to catch on and start putting whatever in capsules and selling it IF they arnt already.

I was talking about taking molly in the powder form where color, taste, and consistency are supposed to be clues but you're still right. That risk is still there

Actually yeah, he does. I've been going to the same one for years. Find yourself and legit and "honest" one you're fine. It's no different than finding a trustful mechanic.

I'd be surprised if a jury found the hotel's negligence (whatever that negligent act might be alleged to be) was greater than the deceased woman's negligence (Nevada law bars a plaintiff's claim if the plaintiff's negligence exceeds the combined negligence of all defendants).

Sounds like the pill had some ketamine in it.... She got a bit anxious, paranoid, and freaked out. Same thing happened to a friend of mine a few years back and it was impossible to calm her down. We however didn't leave her alone.

Sad story though, gives EDM a bad name....

From a legal perspective, I am not sure how her parents could sue anyone (and actually win). What did EDC or the hotel do wrong? They didn't give her the drugs. She took the drugs and jumped out the window. How is that anyone else's fault? I know that sounds harsh, but give me a break. Why is everyone's first reaction that people are going to get sued? People need to take responsibility for their own actions and stop pointing the finger at someone else.

Theyll probably sue everyone. Insomniac because she was partying there and they didn't go above and beyond to prevent this from happening. Keep in mind they settled when the las person passed away in la. MGM because they own circus circus and she was able to get through the window bars and jump.

I wonder how often something like this happens in Vegas but we never hear about it.
I know a guy that was found outside of Hardrock a few years ago. They don't know if he jumped or somebody pushed him. He is alive, but paralyzed. It never made the Vegas newspapers.

funny thing is i read the dad said her daughter doesnt do drugs and that foul play was involved. sorry to sound like an asshole but this dad must be the most naive parent i have ever seen. all her friends took it.. she oviously took it and had no idea what she got herself into.

I think this past new years day someone fell off the Cosmo terrace and another one abt a year ago. Theres been stabbings along the strip and I think a recent one was in front of PH. I remember there was some fight at Crown that escalated to the streets and fwy with gunfire between 2 cars. I've heard from others about muggings on certain parts of the strip(near harrahs and MGM). And remember tupac was shot on corner of Harmon and LV blvd.

I'm sure bunch of stuff happens. they actually show up on the vegas tv news at times. most of us just dont hear about it. Its like any other town... it experiences its own share of bad seeds and stupid crap that involves death.

All these Insomniac event deaths (Vegas, LA, Dallas) will eventually catch up with them, costing them some serious $ or cities not giving them permits to operate. I go to as many festivals as I can, and I can't say I don't partake in "activities" while I'm there, but if you've been, you know security is a joke...that's actually probably an understatement.

If we start shutting down music festivals because one person can't handle their drugs, then there won't be any left. EDC gets a bad rap because it's rave culture, and drugs are so associated with it, so it's convenient to say it's a dangerous atmosphere. I could go to any major music festival and point out plenty of equally dangerous behavior. In the end, it's a goddamn miracle this doesn't happen more often.
