I just saw Marquee has Cosmic Gate that Saturday, XS has Diplo. I'm guessing the prices will be higher than normal?

I can't find anything for TAO, does that mean they don't have a headliner that night?

Tao posts events later than most...sometimes only a week in advance.

Will they likely have a big headliner and the costs will be higher? I guess if that's the case, all three of the big clubs will be higher.

Maybe...maybe not...Just get a quote now, lock it in if you like it. Then have a backup plan. Keep an eye on the event calendar. If a headliner/guest is announced then just touch bases with your host and make sure youre still good. Last I was at Tao Dirty South was announced a few days before. Didnt matter as far as my reso went.

If you buy presale and split up GA shouldnt be that bad if u get there early. Tables 20-22 at Tao for your size of group would be perfect will probably be $2800 or so minimum with a $300-400 tip. That said, if you want to work on a deal for a pool I'd bump your tip. I think your best bet at working a deal is at Tao. Opium Room would be a great backup plan if you cant swing main room. Its hip hop, will be packed, and truly is steps away from the main room. I think you could get Opium Room for $1200-1500 which would be a little easier on the guys budgets.

i also am more focused on nights than day parties, is general admission fine for pool parties or are cabanas really worth it? i feel like my crew would be better served partying at a table at night, and for the pool parties just going GA and staying in the middle of the pool where the action is any way. Should we switch more of are budget for daytime and take away from nighttime clubs?

Also if I know I'm going to be dropping ~$500 per head at night I don't necessarily want to black out during the day and not even remember the night, or risk some friends being to blacked out to even make it

I would ask if a $2000 min with a $500 tip could get you in the main room. If you plan on doing Tao Beach line that up at the same time. See what he says...remember your please and thank yous

shrimp123, my party is more of a nighttime crew as well, but everyone keeps saying we HAVE to check out the pool parties. So I'm thinking 1 GA day, 1 BS day, 1 GA night, 1 BS night.

Right now the tentative plan is:

Friday day: TAO beach cornerbed
Friday night: GA at Marquee or XS
Saturday day: Gamble/Drink/Pool/Lounge
Saturday night: Dinner at Mon Ami Gabi. BS at TAO
Sunday day: GA at either Marquee Dayclub or EBC
