I believe marquee has language on the presale tix that says something like "must have even ratio, entry rights reserved" or something to the effect of "we can block you at the line."

But I've never EVER seen that happen. It's really bad customer service. Think about how angry people would be if they were denied a service they prepaid for.

Also it just means the website won't allow you to buy 5 male tickets in one pop. Nothing stops all your friends from buying one individually.

ya at but what price? LOL. Its certainly not as cheap as a GL or Presale.

I would say if you're sure you want to get in at Marquee or XS on a night that there is a big headlining DJ and you're not planning to do a table anyways. GET the pre-sale tickets.

Youre risking it getting to capacity. When its close to that, and it can get to being that busy at midnight, they wont let anyone in through Gen Admission.

Thats happened to us twice in 2 months at Marquee. We just lagged and both times it was way too busy and we werent willing to pay for out 5 times what it would have normally been to grease someone.

There is wording in that effect on the tickets, but I've never seen even groups of guys with tickets/presales sent away. At most the door guy will let some guestlisted girls in a little faster and the guys may wait a couple minutes. But yes solo guys are fine on guestlist as well. Presales are almost always available online for any night from a no name DJ as well the world's biggest DJ.

I'm generally at the front helping with wristbands and whatnot as well, so I've seen a whole lot of guy groups get in just fine with presales, small groups guestlisted, hotel guests, etc.

Tables are still always going to offer the best possible experience and comfort.

I dont get how shooting a host a txt offering 100$ to bypass will get no response but a solo guy can get on the guestlist esp at marquee. When this past monday at 11:30 they were not letting any groups of guys in(telling them to leave).

Found two girls and got in no problem. Then got pulled out of GA which wasnt long to begin with and put in GL line and walked right in.

Got in pretty late this past Friday. Tried to text a previous host but no response. Was pretty busy and they said no GA at around 1am.

We had 3 guys 2 girls and dude at the fence said $1000 for all. Passed on that since it was already nearing 2am.

that is fuckin crazy......at drais this weekend (forget the night) I heard someone with a group of 10ppl with 7 guys the host wanted 100$ per guy plus cover.

pretty soon its going to be cheaper just to get a table.

We got in fine at Surrender on Saturday, no hassle since it was still early around 11(2girls 3guys). Got packed around 12 and other friends rolled a bit before 1. They had about 10 guys and they didnt wanna wait. They paid $800 to line pass plus cover.

It's simple. If you're walking around the desert looking for a glass of water you're probably gonna get quoted a high price.

If you tell someone you're interested in buying a case of water a month from now you'll get a good price for water.

Sure it does. That's what advance ticket sales are. Guarantee entry and no last minute price hike pressures.

He's right. If you reserve a table now for Kaskade or whoever a month from now, you'll get it way cheaper then if you walk up at midnight night of and try to get a low minimum table. Also, sometimes presales are $40 for a night like Avicii and at the door it'll start at like $80 and progress from there. (not accurate pricing just an example)
