I like Warren's plan. The focus on pool party's is a good focus.

daylife > nightlife IMO

More bang for your buck (drinks plus food, usually spend more time) and swimsuits > club attire

warren i like your idea on thursday night and was thinking of eating dinner at Tao and getting hands stamped, the only thing is i keep reading on here that Tao on Thursday night is not worth going to unless you have a table, can anyone confirm / deny this? i will be with 4 other guys btw

I think if you've never been to Tao it's definitely a badass place and worth checking out via GA. Most of the people saying they wouldn't GA Tao have been there done that, or like me, did BS on the first time and can't imagine doing it any other way. It's a bangin' party and as long as you get a solid pregame on you'd have a blast.

Hey vets....I didn't go into the Lounge while I was there....is it feasible to double fist drinks from the lounge then head back down to the main room in a reasonable timely manner?

Well, it's crazy popular night, and packed because of it. Tables obviously provide a much different experience then GA. Especially if fighting your way to the bar to get drinks on top of trying to get to the dance floor and being packed into a huge crowd can be annoying.

If you're not looking to drop the cash and just wanna check it out, then GA will suit you just fine.

There are multiple areas to party in as well, including the main room where most people get seated and party in, Opium Room (Hip Hop), and if the weather's nice and it's busy then TAO Beach area is generally open as well with a separate DJ.

Hilarious....I've been to Tao on Thursday nights 4 yrs in a row and I've never had a bad time, but then again I'm not a loser, weigh 500 lbs, and look like Shrek...I'm thinking that those are pre-reqs for having a good time at Tao...and that comment about fightin your way to the bar...duh...not true...walk over to the Opium room and get a drink...its always way less packed anyway...there are 3 main bars to get drinks! I look at the wait to get a drink a prime opportunity to start a conversation to the new girl standing next to ya! that crowded main dancefloor is very true, but used that to my advantage cause women hate it even more than we do...so they prefer to hang at the bar and dance, etc., etc., etc.

• Always got there relatively early
• Had multiple options for getting in (passes from Venetian Concierge, Tao wristbands, handshake).

If you're planning on hitting Tao, Tao Beach, and LAVO and want to go on budget, I recommend one of the wanticket/vegas.com/bestofvegas bracelets for tao/lavo. I haven't looked at it in a while, but you order it, pick it up thursday night at tao and it gets you free and quick entry to tao/lavo/tao beach throughout the weekend. I've personally used it in the past at tao.

I've never had BS at Tao but still have always had a good time. People always forget about the side bars. I always scope out which bars are the least crowded early on and it usually stays that way
