Also surprised to read 'Vancouver bitch attitude' in this thread, I was there for a week last year, everyone was super friendly. All going to plan I'll be moving there in about 15 months, hoping I won't find life a little harsher once I'm there fulltime.

Possibly being Jonny foreigner makes the locals a little more friendly but I was still surprised to read that term (sorry for the derail attempt)

I think it definitely helps. I've met several people that have "fallen in love" and gotten married or at the very least dated/hooked up. The big thing about Vancouver is it's a very transient city with many people coming from other parts of Canada to live in Vancouver. Having something that sets you apart is a definite plus (i.e. the accent). It was the same thing for me when I went throughout Europe and especially eastern Europe.

Good luck when you come to Vancouver.

Welcome to Vancouver! Being from Vancouver island (to the south). I can say that. Vancouver is a transient town as previously mentioned. But still one Of the most amazing cities on earth. The Vancouver "bitch" exists. But doesn't represent the rest of us lovely folks. Kay sorry off topic

I'm in Vegas right now (April 16-20). Right now at stratospheres 20$ all you can drink mojito / Marg (7-10pm) while the venue is light (kinda boring) the attitude is right. 108 air bar

Amazing view. Like strip ridiculous views. All I can drink margs. Tons of varieties for 20$. Fun new people. Because I seek them out. Anyone in a "nothing bar" can bring a great time if you've got the right perspective.

Not saying this is the place to be. It's all about MAKING the night yourself. Which I know how to do.

Have an awesome time in Vegas sweetie. It's the Place where good times are made
