There is nothing worse than cheap skates in Vegas. I really sacrifice and save up for my trips. I save every penny. For instance my trip is in 10 days. I havent even gone out since October. Not even Saturday for Pats.

All u can do is try and do the cost benefit analysis. This example is why it is at point where I go by myself on my trips.

Lets say you get B1G1 deal from a host somewhere - meaning that with all taxes/tips/bottles - everything you're looking at like $800 +/-
So that is $134 per person.

      Two 1liter bottles = ~64oz. of booze
64oz. of booze = ~42 drinks at 1.5oz of booze per drink (7 drinks per person)

If you wanted the same night without bottle serivce -
      6 guys cover is ~$30 each = $180
+ 30-90 minutes of waiting... not sure what your time is worth, but this part sucks.
Mixed drink in a Vegas club is ~$14 + tip... so lets just say you give $15 for each drink.
42 drinks (to equal the number you would have with bottles) * $15 = $630

Your new total is around $810 for the same amount of booze, but you have no where to sit, had to waste time stnading in line, and have to wait for drinks at the bar (people forget about how much this sucks).

So honestly you come in cheaper, you've wasted less time, and had a place to call home for the night.... its a no brainer once you get over 4/5 people
Good logic but the main issue is that the cheap ppl wont be buying 7 drinks in the club. They pregame hard in the room and at the tables to avoid the expensive drinks in the club

        Yeah, I agree with this.

In general you can't "break the costs down" to show how bottle service would be cheaper because if someone doesn't want to spend it they won't spend it.

        Example:
You: "Say you tip the bouncer $30 to get in"
        Him: "Will wait in line"

You: "Plus 6 drinks at $20 / drink"
        him: "1 drink at $12 / drink and I'll pre-drink"

You: "Plus you buy two girls drinks"
        him: "Nope"

You: "Equals $190, so it's the same"
        him: "Nope"

if they are really good friends then you can help sponsor them just to have that good friend be there and share the experience. if not, find some good bros that see the value of clubbing in vegas. i hardly go out at home and party right in vegas.

            +1

I wouldn't always do this. But for example MayOD I'll be celebrating my 30th. I have two of my best friends that are going and I know they couldn't fathom or be reasoned into BS. But we've been friends since Jr. High and even though it's my bday, it's worth it for me to pay their way and have an all around good time. Now I also have some other friends on the trip, and I'll be telling them to figure out their own way and to meet us up if they'd like.

Lots of great tips here- we got it figured out for most part, and basically laid it out- strippers first, so the cheapies can still hang out for a bit, and spend as little as hey like, with the cost of bottle service requiring a deposit, as I've unwillingly been harrasing a host (whom I apologized to numerous times).

I asked for $200 from those that want bottle service, and I'll pay the rest (I did not mention this part). I'm still 3 short, but the hosts have been great to work with and I'm sure will help me figure a way to make it work.

                - this stag is going to cost me more then the wedding! Lmao! If anyone in in town March 27 and wants to join us- feel free!

Let them watch from the bar how much more awesome your plan was and hopefully they'll be ready to commit next time. Or even better, join you and throw down for more bottles.

Some people just don't get that to do things right in Vegas it takes money. I have have friends that won't spend $200 a btl back home for BS at a club, but have learned that to do it right in Vegas you have to pay to play if they want to come with me.
I can almost guarantee this is what it's going to come down to for me this June. Everyone is excited that I'm planning this coz they know they can rely on me to have a good time. BUT they still haven't decided whether to commit to paying $$. The sad things is its my bro's 21st so I'm willing to eat more than my share so it'll be worthwhile. Two are total cheapskates. One isn't even into drinking or dancing. I'm trying to break two girls of that "I'm female so I shouldn't have to pay for anything" mentality. Ugh.

All these stories make me feel better and better about just footing the bill myself for my wife's 30th. For a week or so I was sweatin' the cash outlay....not any more....the money is set aside and I've already mentally parted ways with it. Then we can all just focus on having a good time.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

No joke, I planned on that from the get go and told my friend to chip in what he could. It lead to a whole lot less headaches and friction.

Cheap friends are nothing but an embarrassment. No offense, but its LV. You get exactly what you pay for. Tell them to man the fuck up and get a table.

Haha, I know how that goes. Luckily I keep around 2-3 solid wing women that I've trained well. They know how to pay to play, as well as how to work their way for free when they want. I treat them like one of the guys, and they know I'll always have their back or cover them when needed.
