Yeah, def a lot of good info for a newbie that's been left with the chore of booking and entire WEEK of Vegas partying...my biggest challenge was Thursday (Sept 6th) and this thread is FULL of helpful advice for me In the hopes of possible garnering a lot more helpful tidbits, I'm going to list what my plan for that day is and you guys can feel free to throw anything and everything helpful my way that would save me money, money that I can spend on more helpful things conducive to a wilder day

Party of 4, 3 guys, 1 girl. Unless we pick up some additional partiers between the 2nd, when we arrive, and Thursday.

Thursday, September 6th:

Beginning of day starting at Wet Republic, looking to get a Bungalow.

After WR, a 4 hour charted Party Bus with 1 or 2 strippers on board, stockin' the wet bar, and stopping off at the cheesy touristy "photo op" spots.

After the Party Bus, hittin' up Tryst. Would love an epic table location for that's large enough for 4+

After Tryst, we have the Crib Suite at the Palms ready for the after party.

So far the only thing set in stone is the Crib Suite, have that booked already. Still need to hook up the Bungalow at WR. I heard from a service that can get us the 4 hour party bus charter and outside table at Tryst facing the waterfall but I'm not sure if the price is decent or not. Def don't wanna be ripped off. This is what he quoted me:

Tryst = $375 per person ($1,500)

Party Bus 4 hour charter = $200 per hour ($800)

The Tryst price alone looks excessive imo.

We don't mind dropping cash for a little "excessive" partying (i.e., bungalow for only 4 peeps), but I'd like to drop that cash wisely...leaving more of that cash to drop in other places. Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can chuck at me

Tryst on Thursday (w/out the Goose/Moet deal)

2 bottles = $950
Tax = $77
Server Tip = $190
Host Tip = $300 (should get you a better location)
Runner Tip = $20
Security Tip = $40
TOTAL = $1577

$1500 for an outside table for a group of 4 is a rip-off.
Even if you didn't tip $300 to the host you should still get an inside location with two bottles.
AND, you can ask for the Goose/Moet special so you'd get 2 bottles of Goose, and 2 bottles of Moet for the pricing I laid out above.

If you want to sit outside then you could probably do 1 bottle for your group and save like $500.

As far as the Party Bus Charter...you can get one from Presidential for $130/hour that seats 20 and has a stripper pole. They throw in a couple bottles of cheap champagne. So 4 hours would be $520. Not sure if the strippers are included in the $800 you were quoted.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. And no, the 800 for the party bus did not include strippers.

Having never been to Tryst I have no idea where the "good" table locations are. Hearing "Facing the waterfall" sounds like it would be good, but again, having never been there I had no idea if it was a good spot or a crappy one.

I'll def be scrapping that service and looking for something more in the area of your quotes. I'm definitely going to look into Presidential...the quote I was given was for a 16 passenger. Good thing I posted, I was about to drop way more than I should have. Thanks a ton

My name is (insert name). I'm a JC Forum member. I have a party of 3 guys/1girl. Interested in a table for (insert date).
I'd like to get 2 Goose/Moet specials with a nice inside location. I plan to tip (insert amount) if I can land the deal and a nice location.
Does this sound doable? Thanks for your time.

You can check out my profile for a Tryst floor plan and ask for a specific location if you like. You won't get dancefloor but I would think 601-604 or 401-404 would definitely be doable. Only downside to asking for a specific location is they may have been willing to give you better...

Is it too early to try to book a table? From what I was reading Tryst only reserves tables up to 14 days out and this won't be till Sept 6th. Hell if they will let me book ahead this far I'd freakin' love too

Probably best to wait....especially if you're going to try for the Goose/Moet deal. They won't book that this far in advance probably.
If I were you I'd get the limo and stuff locked in then wait until August to make the Tryst reservation.

Presidential had good prices on their services so I went ahead and booked with them. They also confirmed that they DO allow strippers on their bus (some companies do not) so now all I have to do is find some dancers that won't break the bank

Only a handful of things left to take care of which is def a weight off! Can't wait for this week to start

Out of curiosity...since I've never tipped hosts before...what would be a very good tip to offer when trying to lock in good table placement? I'm contacting Tryst this week and wanna cover all my bases before I do.

ah nevermind....I looked up and saw it's 4.
$300 should be sufficient to lock-in a good location.
Ask for whatever area you want when you contact the host.
