I still get lost in the DJ hype in clubs. Most of the time I never ever pay attention to what the DJ is doing on stage , and as long as whoever it is, is playing good music I dont care if its mau5s or colton himself up there spinning

deadmau5 is btw progressive as well!

Deadmau5 is very commerical. My opinion on commercial, is that if their tracks are played on the Top 40 Chart then they are mainstream. Call me cynical, but in the UK, Deadmau5 is very mainstream.

With regards to SHM and Avicii, id avoid like the plague. I don't know Kaskade, but he seems to go down a treat in the US. Give me Angello or Axwell on their own and im a happy man, but put them together and its a mainstream disco.

Are they too expensive? I know they must play the west coast, right? What's the story? They are my personal favorites.

Burridge in Mexico for the BPM festival a few weeks ago was one of the top 3 sets I've heard, ever.
Sasha from Sasha & Digweed from back in the day? wow I'm showing my age lol

Hmm. In the US, Deadmau5 does very well on the US Dance charts and has a strong fan base, but you're not likely to hear him on a typical Top 40 radio station and I don't think he hits the overall US charts that high. I can see Deadmau5 being mainstream dance (which is just another way of saying he's popular, and thus what Vegas clubs like), but my thought of what commercial is stuff you're likely to hear on the radio, and at least in the US for non-dance stations, you're not going to hear him or much House music there.
