Is there a guestlist for Hyde? What's the best plan of attack to get in on a Friday or Saturday night?

      Sak Noel - loca people
Afrojack - the way we see the world
      Adrian sina - hold on
      Dj Fresh - louder

      Alex valea - don't say it's over
      Criminal vibes - save me
Ben Bastion - screaming for love
Qwote - throw your hands up

And there's tons of older shit that's awesome by tiesto, Edward maya, atb, global dj's etc etc etc

House, Techno, Glitch Hop, etc. are all types of EDM.

Over the course of my 15 day blowout in Vegas (partially for business, which explains the length of stay), I checked out Hyde twice.

First time was on Jan 1 with Paul Oakenfold. A friend of mine who works at the Bellagio's restaurant Yellowtail (owned by Light Group) got us right in around midnight thanks to a contact of his. Packed, lots of beautiful women, everyone well-dressed and acting properly. True to its origins, it felt like I was partying in some elite spot in LA. Absolutely zero riff-raff.
Service excellent. I was kind of drunk so I can't comment much more about this.

Had BS this past Tuesday. Went with some friends and business colleagues, 6 people, all mid-late 20s except for one older guy who was paying. It was totally spur of the moment, so nothing was set up-- just went to the front of the line and started talking. At first, they insisted on a 2 bottle min, but after some persistence, got it to one. If it was good, we would stay and buy more bottles, but didn't want to be tied down if it ended up sucking.

Goose was 585 if i remember correctly, Belvedere, Ketel and my personal favorite, Chopin (potato vodka from Poland) were 545. Major props that they carry Chopin.

Got a random spot on the raised level, not the greatest spot, but it was the best available. The club is small so a quick glance around confirmed this. No sense tipping super big since it wouldn't help with a better location. While we're waiting for our bottle, we notice a table freeing up right by the dance floor, excellent location, much bigger. We tip some more and ask to get moved. Not a problem. Everything was moved immediately and the servers reassured us it was not a problem when we apologized for the extra hassle. Just moments later, will.i.am sits down with his entourage one table over.

We end up ordering more bottles and stayed till things died out around 4. The crowd was, once again, top notch. Well-dressed, well-behaved. Music was EDM, no hip hop, which is just the way I like it. One thing that stood out was the service: everyone was very kind and very willing to help, but it wasn't obtrusive. Our server Marie (?) was gorgeous and made sure we were enjoying everything, but the other server/runner Adam was the star of the night. He made sure our other bottles came out ASAP and made sure absolutely everything was going perfectly. I don't think we've ever gotten better service from any single employee in all our Vegas BS experiences. If any Hyde execs are out there reading this, Adam was the man and should be the industry standard. Our Security was also top notch, kicking out bottle rats, ready with cigarettes, lighters, bathroom escorts, etc. His name was Alan I think (?). We, of course, tipped them well for their hard work.

Overall: would I go here again? Absolutely. Was it worth it? Yes, but the only thing holding me back would be the venue itself. While the location is ideal- right on the bellagio fountains- its kind of small and the crowd, while elite, can get a little boring because of its size. If I myself were paying, I'd still consider doing this on a Tuesday, but not on a weekend.

They do open nightly at 5 PM for cocktails and snacks, which I think is the perfect way to start an evening, especially during the week. This is what I see myself coming back for the most. It's a swanky place with an awesome view of the fountains and good service. The crazy shit can happen at an actual club later at night.

If I remember correctly gratuity was also 22%. I guess the recession in vegas is over

I would also like to comment on the staff - muuuch better than comparable clubs, they really stood out.

Great tip on 5PM cocktails - may have to give that a try this Saturday before dinner. Any details on hosts for Hyde?

                    I'll start with "J Roc".
