I was with AOD for most of the nights for mAyOD so I can honestly say that our guys did not cater to these Bottle Hoes and/or Bottle Fairies that you speak of. They were complete gentlemen and respectable of our group. Anyone that didn't contribute and was even suspected of trying to help themselves to the bottles that our guys shelled out for was kindly asked to leave. As for sleeping with random Bottle Hoes, our guys are too classy for that.

And hopefully you are not referring to the ladies of AOD as Bottle Hoes because that couldn't be farther from the truth. These men were gracious enough to let us ladies sit at their cabana/daybed/tables whenever so that we could rest our feet. I have never met more kind people in my life. And when I was offered a drink, I declined because I hadn't personally contributed. There was a deep mutual respect amongst everyone.

I wasn't refering anyone here as bottle hoes! I was just saying that I don't think I'll have the money to be part of mAyOD next year just because, like you, I cannot accept a drink I didn't pay for except if it comes from really close people to me (i.e. my boyfriend, family or really close friends).

I know people from here are classy. But since I'm not really rich, I just wanted to make sure nobody thinks that if I ever go to mAyOD and that I don't drink enough, it'll be only because drinks at clubs are really expensive and that no I will not accept anything from anyone as I'm not that kind of girl. And saying that kind of girl, I wasn't either refering to anybody here. I know people are close to each other here, so friends share with friends. I am a stranger. Not the same

Don't worry about it - best way to keep costs down is to preparty, enter the club with a buzz. Being of the fairer sex, you also get the discount of easy/free entry, so it can be done via a frugal manner.

Plus, we're all friends here and friends share. Sharing is caring...

Sorry that you're experience may not have been what you expected, but that's Vegas. Again, you're time is what you make of it.

I fucked up regarding mAyOD but mAyOD wasn't everything in Vegas. Well, maybe for most of you but although you are right when you say my time is what I make of it, there were some external things that happened that had infkuence upon the decisions I had to make in Vegas.

It makes me sad that you speak as 'you didn't have a good time, so be it, it's all your fault' but I know you are mostly right. I should have told my grumpy dad to fuck off and to go get drunk by himself if he couldn't enjoy his time that *I* fuckin' paid for (another reason why I didn't have that much money) his 60th birthday... But I couldn't as he's my dad and I didn't want to ruin his vacations while he, in return, ruined half of mine (without knowing it) because he couldn't leave his problems at home... Nobody in my party seemed really interested in mAyOD and, of course, I could have told 'em all 'fuck it, I'm going' but we are a knitted tight family and because I guess I'm too nice, I just sucked it up and didn't insist on mAyOD although I paid them the wristbands and did everything for them to get them...

You are right. It's all my fault and believe me, I have learnt my lesson. When I'm on vacation I do what *I* want and I'm never paying my dad another trip again and if he ever wants to follow me again somewhere, I'm telling him that if he ever happen to be 'not in the mood' that I won't make it my business.

Sorry for the rant. Your message just got me through my heart. I oh so wanted to please everyone in my party that I forgot about myself... I had great moments (BMA2011, karaoke at Bill's, downtown pubcrawl, touristic stuff...) but I know that if I missed mAyOD it's my fault.

I was a complete stranger, too, FCG. As Drew said, he, along with all other members, welcomed us first-timers with open arms. I am generally a shy person, but I put myself out there and made so many good friends. Your time is what you make of it. I set out to have the time of my life and absolutely I did.

I'm not rich either, but Vegas is Vegas and it's going to cost you a pretty penny. Where else in the world can you party in an atmosphere like that with people such as AOD? You get what you pay for and I'm fine with that. The best night for me was Kaskade Saturday night at Marquee. I managed to keep a good buzz on 5 drinks at $14 a pop the entire night... $14 x 5 = $70... But that's not much more than I might spend at home, not too mention I didn't have to pay cover, I got to have a blast with everyone, AND I got to see Kaskade spin. Also, Just because AOD stands for "Army of Drinkers," it's not like people are going to call you out for not drinking. As long as you were having a good time and enjoying yourself, you were golden.
