Chuck - sounds like you have some experience with table locations at Tao (well, everywhere). Looking at the floorplan it looks like we WILL NOT want to be in the following locations:

70-74
80-83 (can't really tell)

Also can't tell where tables 5/6 are.

Anywhere else in the main room not a good table location? I'm really hoping for a moat table, but not sure that will happen.

I did BS at Tao this past April with a group of 6 when Dirty South was there.
We did a $1400 minimum and tipped $400 to the host. We were sat at Moat 2 which is just outside the Moat area in the main room.
If you do a B2G2 that effectively puts your minimum at about $800, plus you're getting two free bottles. If you can get anywhere in the main room with B2G2 with Chuckie there I'd feel good about that. Just shoot Chris a text, give him your group size, and ask if main room is doable with "x" amount tip and a B2G2 that night. He'll be straight up and do the best he can for you.
