Thanks for posting this, we have a 5 gallon Gatorade/Water cooler that sports teams and construction workers use for our weekend drinking and parties. Always looking for new ideas for large drinks to fill it with. Will be doubling the amounts for our Thanksgiving night Ravens tailgate.

It's a drink... typically done as a shot, but we do them in large glasses. It tastes like apple pie, but messes you up after a glass or two since it's made with 190 proof grain alcohol. Great for pregaming! And the best part? We're bringing enough for the whole class! =) Free liquor is good liquor!Never offer an open bar to a Wisconsinite... =)Comment

Wanted to report back.....big hit at the tailgate today, many requests for a repeat on Thanksgiving night, and I am a man of the people.
Not sure if the sugar is usually just plain sugar, I went with light brown sugar because it made more sense to me for pie. And it really did taste like apple pie and was great.
I also made it with a mix of green apple vodka and regular vodka, didn't want to mess with everclear so that we could at least enjoy the game and not be totally wrecked. Used a 750ml of the apple and 1/2 bottle of regular vodka and the rest of your recipe, couldn't taste the liquor at all but the totally wrecked thing was still an issue for some.

Glad to hear it worked out. Alot of folks will ad a little something extra. Some people use apple pie seasoning packets, other add a few drops of vanilla. I like a 50/50 mix of white sugar and brown sugar. It's all preference!Never offer an open bar to a Wisconsinite... =)Comment
