  • What sportsbook has the best drink service / comps?

Its been a while since I've been out to Vegas but will be there tomorrow.... usually I would place sports bets and off-track horses at the Bellagio, just curious if anyone has a more preferred place that offers lots of drinks and brings them quickly.

    Thanks!

Rio is pretty good about the drinks during opening week of march-madness and fast service.

Interesting topic. I've had different luck at different places, but I remember getting the most drinks out of CET properties. Ceasar's and Planet Hollywood are very generous with tickets and have given more if asked. Didn't have great luck at Wynn on a football Sunday, likewise at MGM.

Anyone ever tipped at the counter for extra tickets? I've heard people talk about it but never tried it myself, that's one of the few people in Vegas I've never tipped. Might be worth it though...

Tipping does work They usually slip a few extra in. MGM was 100 dollar min bet on big days to get drink coupons so I could just imagine what Wynn is. The key to free drinks isn't in betting on the "big 4" sports, it is in horses/greyhounds. There is no min bet for these in order to get free drink coupons. (Not sure about Wynn) So walk up put a few bucks on a race and receive your tix. Make multiple trips up for horse bets don't make them all at one time

^ ^ exactly! Usually I find that if you ask nicely and slide them a $10, they'll give you a couple more.

From my experience, they tend to give 1 drink ticket for each $50 you bet.
          Next trip: ???

Ceasar's seems like they have cut back to me. I thought Wynn was ok with free tix. Mind you I bet 700 plus on college baseball games. It seems to be you have to bet at least 100 for 2 tickets probly on average.

              Agreed

Also, I believe they have different levels for comped drinks for horses vs. sports betting (sports being a higher minimum to get free stuff at most places)

Aria gives drink coupons with $20 horse bets, it is $20 in total so you can bet multiple races to get to $20. I usually ask when In place my first bet of a trip, feels a little cheesy but better to just know.

When I was at Caesars it was $50 - $100 min bet to get a drink ticket.

Maybe I was an idiot but that was how it was going for me.
