Great Craps Tutorial

avg. buy-in = 20x the minimum... $5min = $100 $10min= $200
bank roll = just my buy in... if it is gone, I'm done (hasn't happened yet)
time at table = 1+ hour usually for me... no max/min time needed
return = not much, its more of a nickle and dime strategy but if/when I am up I increase the bet and then can stand to make more money much quicker.



I played over this last Thanksgiving weekend and it went very very well for me.
Start with $200 ($10 minimum).... played my usual strategy and about 60 mins later was up ~$150 (had $350 total in front of me counting my seed money)
Colored up and Pocketed $150 at that time that I would NOT touch... leaving me $200 to play with.

That turned into $350 again in about 60 mins.... Pocketed $50 so all my seed money was accounted for and I had $300 that I didn't give a shit about and was completely okay to lose.

I started betting with my system but playing with MUCH more money each roll for another 60 mins until my friends wanted to leave.... when it was all said and done, and a total of about 3 hours playing, and $80 in dealer tips over the 3 hours I walked away with $900 on top of my seed money.


Some people would laugh at $900 in 3 hours, that is one roll/hand... but I had a great time and walked away with a bunch of money to blow on cyber monday!

Some may laugh at that but more may laugh at LOSING that much or more in 3 hours right?

Hey as you play your dark side system do you sometimes take note of what you would be winning if you were right-betting and how often it happens?
I know you go with the math and the math states the 7 will show more often in the long run but on the times where someone is on a heater or mini heater do you take notice of how much that happens or how much you could be winning?

The only time I really take note is a 7 on the come out roll would normally mean a passline bet is doubled, which mine is but I'm losing my Don't Pass bet so I just break even.... so if someone tosses a few 7s trying to set a point I think about it because of all the times people lose their passline bets on the come out and I break even.

Heaters have certainly hurt me, but never crippled.... and I sort of have an unwritten rule not to bet against Asian women.... for some reason they've got my number

Yeah that is one aspect of that betting strategy that is great: you break even on 2,3, 7, 11 and 12.
But I bet a buck each on the C and E so that is my insurance on just the PL.

LMAO on the Asian Women remark...but what do you do in that case? Do you bet with them?

My first time in Vegas it seemed Asian men rolled like they owned the dice.
2nd time in Vegas, and often in Tunica, it is Black Men and Women that seem to know how to throw.
And sometimes its the old dudes who seem to not care how the dice are launched and they are the ones throwing forever lol!

I think Asian Women are one group I have never seen throw the bones. Maybe this weekend though!

Craps, overall, is a game of gambling like any other. Dice setting with the "Wing-V" or anything else that can "move the odds" are still long term losers. The craps roll record set in Atlantic City was done by a woman who had never played before. I would like to believe gamblers don't discriminate based on the ethnicity of who is throwing the dice... Of course craps players are sometimes supersticious... :-)

I played today and lost $1,500 playing the same way I always play. Tonight I shall win it back. Craps lesson dollar amount has increased a bit but rest assured I will prevail! Wish me "luck" and I hope some Asian woman rolls for 45 minutes so I can pull down 10k and post the table report! :-)
