Boat Shoes in Vegas Nightclubs

Just wondering, Is it ok to wear Sperry Topsider Boat shoes to Vegas nightclubs? I was thinking about wearing something like this
Just wanted to be comfortable instead of feeling over dressed with dress shoes on. I had no trouble getting in with my gucci loafers in previous years but they're really get stuffy as the night goes on. Please any thoughts???

Unless your wearing a Tux, I don't know how you could feel overdressed at a Vegas club.

But to answer your question....maybe. Depends on the club/host/doorman/BS or GA. You'll probably see someone wearing them. Doesn't mean they'll let you though. That's why most suggest playin it safe.

Good rule of thumb: if you have to ask, there's probably only a 50% chance you'll get in with it on. Maybe lower.

I love boat shoes, preferably Henry Lloyd or Timberland. BUT only when I'm on the boat, at the dock side or in a very very casual setting. In a Vegas night club though... not so much.

If you own a pair of Gucci loafers I say you should wear them as much as possible to show the crowd what real style is about.

Maybe I'm the one that's out of the fashion loop, but I don't know why anyone would want to wear boat shoes period, much less in a Vegas club.

It all depends on what kind of places you're hanging out at. I remember boat shoes all around in the Hamptons at Memorial day. I suspect they're not the same hit in Cali.

K thanks for everyones input! I think I'll just play it safe and buy new loafers! :-/ I seen some off white Ferragamo loafers on sale at Neimans its probably my best bet.
