For LDW without presales I'd show up at like 8, not kidding, unless you feel like greasing big time. Get your hands stamped, go back out, get something to eat/gamble/pregame somewhere and go back in around 10-11.

Presales have a separate line so yea 10 should be fine. Maybe ask a host to confirm what time they recommend.

Eh, I've never gone to Vegas with a plan on any holiday and haven't had a problem yet. Your friends only gonna be realy screwed if she has guys in her group. If it's all girls with good attitudes she'll be good.

The humor of all this is when they are getting ready they think they are so going to be the hottest thing ever. Then its another story when they get to the doors. Thats the part cracks me up. (not talking bout Crissy friend, but just the LDW experience in general for stragglers that treat it like going to their local $5 drink club)
