Don't go to STK for steak...

I had the worst filet of my life here. It's more like a nightclub than a steakhouse. Way better places to get steak in Vegas.

Yeah, if i had to replace one thing it would probably be STK (D.O.C.G seems to be crazy busy next door for whatever that's worth) Only reason STK is on my list is because of the proximity to Marquee for Sat. And I can't completely disagree with the above poster regarding SW. What once used to be a can't miss steakhouse, is a little off and on of late. Not sure what's going on...

I have never had a bad meal at SW though its been a while. Do you think Chef Walzog has lost focus with the opening of Lakeside? I find it hard to believe that Wynn would let its flagship steakhouse standards drop.

Post red-eye report from this weekend...

Typical weekend plan held pretty close to form. Wanted to give Sinatra a shot so we replaced it with SW on Friday night. After a great meal went over to XS and finished off at Tryst. Saturday night dinner at STK followed by Marquee. For those of you who haven't been to STK on a weekend night, do it asap. Food is solid A-, but the atmosphere is insane starting at about 8:30. People literally dancing on tables and eating Ribeye's simultaneously. DJ spinning 80's music, etc. etc. A must do in Vegas. Marquee was crazy as always, and I discovered the Library room for the first time. One of the most underrated locations in all of Vegas... Don't spread that news though, shhhhhh.

Perfect Planning Prevents Poor Performance. You can always adjust on the fly, but if you have a gameplan, things will go much smoother.

I got a $200.00 food and bev credit at Aria and was going to try the Steakhouse. Has anybody been to it or is there a better rest at Aria?
