I don't mind staying in a cheaper hotel like Stratosphere (i will have a rental car during the weekend).. but Strat now is like $60/night for the weekend (average). The deals you're talking about makes me think that Strat is ripping me off. So i guess I'll wait for a good deal.

If you can book through the Australian version of Expedia - www.expedia.com.au
They have HRH for AUD389 for 5 nights - 27 Oct - 01 Nov. That's approx USD410 so around 80 a night & wayyy better than the stratosphere.

FYI US Expedia has it for USD741 and HRH website 566

How's the Luxor? They've been having cheap prices all year round. Plus they're on the strip. On the far end... but its still the strip.

Don't do luxor, it's a horrible hotel. It's 4 star, but it's not really lol. For a budget trip, I'd go with Monte Carlo, Flamingo, or Ballys.

What exactly is wrong with Luxor besides it's location on the strip. My friend stayed there during Mayod and sandwiched his way to a tower suite. I never made it there, but i saw his pics. It looked nice.

I stayed at Monte Carlo. Seem mediocre for the price they're charging. The pic's of Bally's and Flamingo don't seem too impressive for the price either.
