Is tipping the general consensus for a host setting up a guestlist? Or is that just if you're trying to walk in without a guestlist? Thanks!

Is it up to you. It doesnt hurt to tip. I think most of us were talking about skipping line through a host, not waiting through a guestlist line.

It's also dependent if it's guest list as in you get into the guestlist line and never meet your host or if you're host actually comes, meets you and gets in you in quicker/walks you in.

yea i tell my host i will tip bc thats time you save standing in line tipsy for no reason lol..... i think 20 max tho bc otherwise you could just buy a presale tix from the clubs site ya know

Ok, I've made my decison. If they walk me and my friend in I will slip them a tip. Especially for the pool parties. I dont want to wait in line feeling like hell from the night before.
Last question, when I text them to ask them to walk me in, should I tell them I'll tip them? Or just say something like if you walk me in we will help you out?

Good call... because as someone said, there's no guarantee that they'll walk you in vs. just waiting in the guest list line.

Haha, i'm wondering the same when it comes to texting with the hosts on working something out. What is the proper way? I'm a girl by the way going with 5 girls but if 3 of our guys decide to come they will probably weigh us down LOL

I've never paid money and never had to wait more then 10 minutes or so. I keep getting messages from girls and guys saying that if I give their friend a "nice handshake" I can get straight in with no waiting. Is this typical or what? I want to know what promotors think and expect. And for that matter, what everyone else thinks.
