And let me tell you, you're most likely much better in the bod category than you think. If you don't believe me, go take a picture of your ass. Then hide it in a drawer for ten years until after you have kids and then revel in it's glory. Awwww thanks to all of you for your kind words! I should have written about my worries earlier, maybe that would've helped me just to tell myself "fuck the money, fuck the perfect bodies and let's just party"!

Now I feel I really should have gone to pool parties as it would have been easier to talk to you than in nightclubs. Also the fact that my boyfriend was with me I feel it "didn't help" as he knew nobody and viceversa... We ended up being in our corner at The Bank and I didn't know where AOD was as I could barely recognize people (wish I did for a few at Caramel only).

So.... Yeah, lots of mistakes for this mAyOD on my part. No regrets as they lead nowhere but I have learnt my lesson.

I know I won't be coming back to Vegas before several years though (we wanna travel elsewhere) but I hope that when I come back it'll be during mAyOD and that I will just leave my fears of being judged in Montreal

Do 2 trips a year. That's what me and the wife are doing. One trip will always be May Invasion now and the other is up in the air.

AOD, like everyone stated, is a family and we have each others back no matter what. If you would have shown up and your feet started hurting we would have found you a spot to sit at. Don't let money be the issue next time and also don't let bikini body be an issue. I'm chubby and still rocked it lol

I was with you FCG about the money issues and feeling cash strapped for AOD. That is the reason I bailed because I didn't have the funds I wanted, and after checking the stories and people's FB, I am pissed at myself I just didn't say screw it and go down. I coulda probably made it work cheap. Just gotta be creative.

The time is what you make of it. From what I can tell AODers are all about awesome fun people and no one gonna care if you have the "perfect" bikini body or not. As long as you are kool and fun that is all that matters. AOD seems to be about the biggest mixture of cultures and diverse people all getting along for fun and good times and to me that is awesome.

OH FCG! I am well into my 40's and still went to the pool (only made 1 JC pool event though and it was short lived) I agree it is very hard to be in that mix with the 20 year olds with perfect bodies. It comes with time, but eventually you develop a "I don't give a Rats Ass--if you don't like it, don't look at me". I agree on the shoes....my feet are going to hurt for another week!
I am sad because I didn't get to actually meet and party with more of the JC-ers! It was nice to meet and put faces with names on some though! I am also sad because I really think I have to admit I'm getting too old to do that much partying over that many days! (BAM)

im sad b/c i went to the hospital after Liquid and have no clue how I got there although there is talk of getting in a cab and saying take me to 911 so thats what we're goin with.

No honestly im sad to be home and that I won't get to see some of you for another year and some of you I may never see again!

-I'm sad because I ended up at Spring Valley and because of that me and the wife missed "KA" which she was really looking forward to.

-Sad because I didn't get to enjoy myself too much because of what happened that Friday.

-Sad I missed out on XS because of that Friday.

-But ultimately, I met some amazing people who I definitely enjoyed hanging out with and i'm sad that we won't get to party again until next May.
