as I expected - the Thursday ($50) bands were cancelled by the Tao Group yesterday according to a customer service manager on Vegas.com.

To use any kind of band, it has to be the specifically stated Memorial Weekend wristband ($100 for girls/ $150 for guys).

Given the popularity of Sunday being a good pool party day since its MDW and most people will still be around it does make sense that switching Sunday for a Thursday would add $100. Weren't presale tickets for places like EBC and Wet going for $100 alone?

Dude you are confusing as hell. One of your original posting even stated they started Thursday. My entire point was that there was a specific option (when selecting Friday or Saturday) that stated Memorial weekend. You then told me they were valid on Monday as well (which I'll give you wanttickets.com does show but from the first you said vegas.com)

In either case, the item is removed from vegas.com. As I mentioned before, I highly doubt bands purchased for the Thursday date will work for that weekend given what I state above (a specific option for Memorial weekend) but hope I am wrong given I purchased one.

Nothing to be confused about, I was very clear, it was very simple, and posted exactly what the Wantickets showed as stated. It has the date right in the top right hand corner.

As for the $50.00 ones, you were looking at the wrong ones, you need to check the 26th (thursday).

As for them no longer being on there, I won't wait and see I will call and take care of this.

Either way you are either 1) going to get a refund or 2) they are going to give you the other wrist bands since they were not supposed to be selling the cheaper ones anyways.

I think Jackson just got confused on way days were included. monday doesnt seem to be included on either one. its either Thu-Sat or Fri-Sun

It was probably a mistake. Normally they sell the tickets for $50 but since Friday and Sat are part of MDW they don't want to sell them at the regular price. You should get a refund. You most likely won't be able to use the regular wristband on Fri and Sat when everyone else is using the MDW one.

I'm guessing they took it down because of the confusion of people like us on this thread.

Goodness gracious - you are all over the place. Here are the facts:

• I never disputed what you bought or didn't buy
• I was looking at the exact date (and items) you were (since removed)
• Whether it was wanttickets.com or vegas.com, when looking on the 26th prior to 5PM CST yesterday there were $50 male and $50 female tickets. I am aware of this.
• My entire point was that these tickets would almost certainly not be honored (and now proven, they won't be)
• If you did in fact purchase these tickets, simply contact wanttickets.com or vegas.com, explain the issue, and request a refund
• If you purchased the $100/female or $150/male passes, they will be honored. End of story.

What they did was simply exchange my original wrist bands for the MDW wrist bands and on top of that credited me $25!

So I now have two MDW VIP unlimited access etc wrist bands all for $75.00 total.

So for those of you who were lucky enough to by the cheaper wrist bands, simply call and they will upgrade you for free.

Did you contact them 1st or did they contact you? Having a very similar issue with wristbands for July 4th

Make sure and contract then first, also I suggest you check ahead of time to make sure you are on the list. Make sure you have all your information as well as contact for the vendor you are using in case you need to contact them.

Also, you can only pick them up at 9:00pm from what I understand. You might email them and see if you can' pick it up earlier than that, unless it is just for one night.

Getting their earlier is a good idea anyways, that line can get F*** crazy LOL

I would take a cab and have a number to call for that cab to pick you back up. You don't want to be waiting in line all night just to leave LOL
