Well, here's what we ended up doing...
Friday Day: Wet Republic, general admission, waited for about 45 minutes so not too bad. There was tons of space, and I didn't feel like a cabana would have been worth the money.
Friday Night: Surrender general admission. Awesome place, Steve Aoki dj'd
Saturday day: Tao Beach, daybed. It was slammed busy, but a killer party. Even with just a daybed, we felt like rockstars.
Saturday night: Marquee general admission. Line was huge, so we paid $100 for 4 girls and 2 guys to skip the line. It was a really cool place, but the party wasn't as fun as the rest of the weekend. It was windy and freezing though, so no one was outside.
Saturday Afterhours: Spearmint Rhino. Got picked up by the party bus and walked past the line with no cover. Cool experience... There was only one chair left by the rail, so I had the two girls I was with in my lap throwing $$ at the dancers.
Sunday day: EBC general admission for Aoki and Lil Jon. We got there at just a little before 11, and didn't have to wait in line at all. This was my favorite pool, but it was much more chill than Tao Beach. It's huge, so it took a while for the club to warm up... By the time lil jon came out around 2:30 or so though, it was hoppin.
Sunday night: XS, bottles dance floor table. I can't even begin to describe how much I love this place, so I won't try. Best decision of our weekend though
Sunday afterhours: Drais, bottles. Buy one get one. Fun place, but not as busy as I was expecting... Granted we got there at 3:30 though. It was picking up by 4:30, and full force by 5, but at that point I wasn't sober enough to judge if it was packed or not.
All in all... It was an amazing weekend.
