lol thats crazy, I never thought that someone in UK would diss football / Soccer! I couldn't agree more. I played hockey growing up and its still my favorite sport to watch/attend.

On a slightly related topic, does anyone know where the players usually stay for the NHL awards? I'm wondering if I'll run into players while I'm there if some of them decide to go there a couple days early.

As the NHL awards are at the Palms, I could see some of the players staying there, but I wouldn't bet against them staying at places like the Cosmopolitan and WynnCore (I saw a ridiculously blitzed Ryan Kesler at Tryst trying to "da dip" to Freak Nasty (it was during All-Star week).

He fell on his ass.
