I used to do the same damn thing, since I work for Fedex, I'd ship my liquor directly to the hotel...not anymore!

The hotel would charge me to receive the package!
I also used to wrap each bottle in bubblewrap and bring it in the luggage, not worth the weight limit drama at check-in...

Now I'm fully seasoned, and I simply go to the Super Walmart in Vegas which is a few blocks from the airport and the strip and I load up on Liquor, chaser and bottled water all of which cost 3X as much near or on the strip. Oh, Wally world's prices are better than the local liquor stores too.

I figured out that it was cheaper to rent a car for 1 day to run my alcoholic & latex related errands than it was to pay for a cab from the Airport, to the store, then to the hotel.

Is it really worth bringing your own instead of taking a trip to one of the Liquor stores?

Kind of; we can get deals on em at liquor stores or grocery stores which can save us anywhere from $5 to $10+ a bottle. I've seen the Svedka 1.75L bottle for $16.99 by my house rather than $27.99. But then again if were being honest we do also pay $450+ for a bottle at clubs lol

Only if you're the type who likes to start everything else off drunk. I just hate that long period of waiting for the elevator or cab sober... excruciating

Nah, I prefer to head out with a solid buzz so that I only need maintenance drinks at the club to keep it going!

+1 If you think about it, your room alcohol will be your club alcohol as well. Its a worthy investment to get something decent!

I wasn't too impressed. I think I'm just not a fan of black cherry to begin with, but it tasted funny. That UV Cherry vodka is good with coke. Tastes just like a cherry coke and sneaks up on you.

Yeah considering that I've only got 82 hours in country...I'm not wasting time trying to save ten bucks to blow it on a redbull in the club anyway. Fuck it. This is Vegas. That said, I'm going for the most convenient way (CVS?) to get some bottled water, mixers, and a 750 of crown and Belvedere for my wife. Game on!
