haha! That's great. But, sorry guys, here's the first part of the review. The best days were thursday and friday, so stay tuned.


Got back from our amazing trip to Las Vegas on Saturday!

I wish we could have stayed an extra day, but oh well. Here’s a review broken down by days:

Tuesday: We arrive in Las Vegas at around 8:30. After getting to the New York New York we decide to walk around then head to the pool. The pool at NYNY kinda sucks, but it was fun to finally relax for a bit. After we decided to check out the Fantasy strip show at the Luxor. It was surprisingly very good. Some of the things those girls were doing were very amazing. This one chick climbed up two ropes about 100 feet in the air, wrapped her legs around each, then just let her body go. She ended up staying up with no problem on. From that, she started making origami out of her body, it was crazy. It’s hard to describe, but it’s something you just have to see in person.

Fast forward on, we check out Lavo. Lavo itself was very nice. It was small, but it had a good feel to it, minus the crowd. I swear, the place was a huge sausage fest. I was ready to go on the dance floor, then backed out because of the 1:10 girl -> guy ratio. All in all, it was a short night, especially considering how we didn’t get there until about 1AM. We left about 3:00, walked to CVS for some beef jerky (ftw), then went back to our hotel to get ready for the next day. Sadly, there just isn’t much to say, nothing really went on, very uneventful.

Wednesday: Today was zipgliding day. We woke up and ate at a place called Dick’s at the Excalibur. What was strangely cool about this place was that the waiter was being a dick to you on purpose (hence the name). He took some silverware and plates and just threw them in the middle of the table. When talking to us he wouldn’t make eye contact and was a jerk. He never even handed us our drinks, he just put them in the corner of the table and had us sort through it. ‘Bad service’ = win.

After we ate we got on a bus to the zipgliding. I love how they advertise a 25 minute drive, when actually it takes about 50 minutes to get there. They lied about it probably so people would actually do it. We arrive and get suited up while they describe to us how this is supposed to go down. After me being bored to death ignoring everything they are saying, we finally took off in a van to the hiking spot. After the extremely bumpy ride up a huge mountain, we finally get off and start the hike with the zipglides. Again, they tell us it’s a 10-15 minute hike, when it is really about a 45 minute hike.

After waiting in a pretty long line to actually go on (there are about 15 people in our party, only 4 zipglides at a time) we finally jump on and it was pretty cool! You go about 50-60 mph over tons of mountains and desert, great scenery as well as awesome rush. Of course, you get even a better view of everything if you get stuck near the end like all three of us did. Due to the wind, sometimes you don’t make it to the other end. So you sit there dangling 200 feet in the air waiting for a guy to come rescue you. I personally loved sitting up there, it was soo cool.

The bad thing about this experience is that it takes frickin forever. It seriously takes an entire day. We were gone from 1:00 -> 8:00. No dinner = phail. Plus, being in a little rush to go eat and get to Body English isn’t too great either. Why does it take so long to eat? We were at Voodoo for like 2 hours. It was very good and cool sitting up on the 50th floor eating, but a long time.

We get to Body English at roughly 11:15 and stand in the reservation line. It was only a 10 minute wait, and in the meantime we just watch everybody get owned by the doorman trying to get in. That definitely kept us busy for the time being. Soon enough, Justen Crews greets us and escorts us to our table. He was a very cool/nice guy.
Our table was okay. I wish we could have been closer to the railing to get a better view of the dance floor. It’s still all good though. I had no idea we got our own security guards, so it was surprising when the guy came over and introduced himself.

The dance floor was really cool. All sorts of cool lights, mists and such spraying everybody, it was a ton of fun. I come back upstairs to see my one friend (Dave) left. Turns out he got pretty sick and was throwing up blood. Crazy. Anyway, I met this one girl who turns out lives like a mile away from my house. It seemed like a lot of people were from Detroit. Even the guy who worked with Justen Crews (can’t remember who) told me he used to live about 3-4 miles from me.

Going on, me and Marty take a taxi back to our hotel and call it a night at about 3:00 and get some sleep for the next awesome day. Our bills are in the dedicated bill thread, but I will post them here too since it is MY thread, and I’ll do what I want. To be continued…

I got the rib eye at Voodoo. I can't remember what Marty and Dave got though. I wanna say Dave got the rib eye and Marty got the New York.

Thursday: Today was a great day. We all get up kinda late, but Marty is the worst.. Marty is in bed until like 5:30 when we had to go eat at the Bellagio and see the Cirque Du Soleil (sp?) show ‘O’. In the meantime me and Dave decide to try and win some money in the casino. I win about 100 bucks in blackjack, and my friend wins a little bit of money too. Marty finally calls us after sleeping forever and lets us know he is ready. We head on over to the Bellagio and eat at this place Prime. It was expensive (about $100/person) but it was really good. We all got the Ribeye or New York Steak with some vegetables.

We’re starting to cut it close for the show (again, why does it take so long to eat??) and I am completely bored! That show was torture. It was just…stupid and a waste of time. I could not wait to get out of there. I have no idea how my friends actually enjoyed that crappy show.

After the huge waste of time we walked around with Dave for a bit while he shopped, then we decided it was time to hit up Tao. Dave didn’t want to come (perplexing, I know), so it was just me and Marty heading down to the Venetian to meet up with Chapp and Jack Colton. They were very cool guys and was awesome to get the chance to meet them.

We see them at the bottom of the escalators along with some other people. It was really cool when I look over and see Chapp loading Marty’s jacket with disposable flasks. So awesome. Soon enough, we all head up and we make our way to the tables at Tao. This nightclub was the best so far. I just loved that fact that for decorations they had hot girls rubbing themselves. Tao’s atmosphere was great. It was a *very* large club with a good feel to it, we are definitely going to hit this place up again when we inevitably come back. Chapp gives me a tour of the place then has to take off.

Later, as I’m walking to the bathroom I see this girl to the side crying. I go over and see what’s going on. Turns out she lost her friends. I keep her company while looking around for her girls. After looking around for them for about 30 minutes we finally meet up with them and chill for the rest of the night. Cool and fun group of people. They tell us to come to Wet Republic Saturday, but we can’t because that’s the date of departure.

Me and Marty decide it’s time to go because we are getting hungry. At the bottom of the escalators we see some guy that is offering us a free limo ride, no cover, and free drink at this gentleman’s club. What the heck, we go for it. The place was okay, but weird enough there were a lot of ugly girls there. PROTIP: I discovered the perfect line to get them skanks off of you is to just say, “I don’t have any money”. As soon as those words are said, they fly off of you.

It’s about 5AM and we head to MGM to eat. There we meet some more chicks who are planning on going to Wet Republic the day we’re leaving. Sigh, they were really cool too.

At about 6AM we crash into bed and get ready for our not only last full day, but best day in Las Vegas.
