Advice: Picking hotel to stay in for best daylife/nightlife?

Yes, my boss stayed at the Cosmo two weeks ago... he and his wife got into Marquee on a Monday night with no wait (despite a huge line).

I went there on the weekend and found out two things:

- guest list ends at 11 pm.
- general admission at 1 am only allowed a 1:1 ratio maximum of male:female or better or all women.

This is great to hear , especially if the day club is included as i am there 25th August and expect it to be popular. Can Donnie.LAVO confirm the posts on this thread??

Encore all the way. The rooms are fantastic, and you basically have no reason to leave the property.

thanks guys for all the replies so far! Will be a hard fought battle which hotel to pick : ) One of the questions still remains a bit unanswered thou, will being a guest at the hotel help with entry to the day- and nightclubs in the hotel?

tao/lavo have lines for hotel guests. may be cheaper. however its not hard to get on the list. just text a host. also, with that amount of dudes you're going to have to do bottle service all the way.

Hmm nice to see Cosmo catering a bit to their guests at least. Oh well will probably work out either way, last time in Vegas we were three guys and never really had any troubles getting in anywhere, five just seemed pushing it a bit...

Ok if I rephrase my question a bit, which hotel has the most upbeat and "festive" atmosphere? Last time we stayed at Mandalay Bay which was nice but a bit to family oriented for my taste : )
