    NO!

like everyone said, if your into it, you'll know the differences of each sub-genre of EDM

So it's pretty much like OPM/Poetry.

IMO Lax, Jet, and the boombox room at Marquee are the best choices - the room is small but it's not like you are forced to stay in there. I would take breaks and go up to the pools area and just chill and actually be able to have convos
I never went to OPM/Poetry, but one girl I know from home that loves black guys raved about OPM/Poetry. I read unofficially Caesar's wasn't too happy about having a "ghetto" establishment in their hotel. They had the strictest dress codes for clubs on the strip. They even made patrons enter/exit via the parkade.

Another place for hip-hop that looks fun is the Rockhouse. It's kind of ghetto though. I mean ghetto in the sense that Las Vegas police loiter outside the place.

I've found LAX to be great for hip-hop. Jet has a small room dedicated to it, so does Tao (Opium Room) and the Boombox Room @ Marquee.

Aside from that, you're stuck with A LOT of electronic dance music now or a mix of top 40/dance/hip-hop.

I'm black but I hated OPM/Poetry. Not a race thing, just too hood. I live in Atlanta and go out a lot here and I don't think a lot of black people automatically equals hood but OPM was hood. I can't comment on Crown but my type of black/latina female is dispersed throughout the different mega clubs and I don't mind searching for them (and they don't mind finding me). I met some badddd black females at Marquee this past weekend

Just get the best of both worlds at Tao, Jet, Marquee, LAX. Find a girl wherever in the club and get her to the hip hop room by offering a drink from a less crowded bar.

Never ever go to Rockhouse. EVER

Personally, I prefer hip-hop over EDM, but I was raised on R&B and adult contemporary. The closest to EDM I like is trance and electro, if that counts. So, I'm glad that there's still some places that play hip-hop.

About OPM/Poetry, I never went, but if my friend told me right, the only non-black people in there were the girls. I'm from Canada, so we don't have a lot of black people where I'm from (mostly Asians and white people), so you need to educate those who don't know what is "hood".

I've only been in Rockhouse once and that was at the end of the night. I was zombie dr*nk and knew I wouldn't wake up right in the morning.

Whenever I walk by it, it looks fun. Yeah, there's a lot of towel waving & dryhumping chicks, but everyone seems to enjoy themselves.

The only thing that makes it seem not right is that there are cops that hang out outside of Rockhouse. & why? They don't seem to be doing anything wrong. Are these guys gangbangers?

The same thing goes for a club at the Gold Coast. Supposedly they have a Latin night and they have cops crawling the place.

I.don't mind if its not not all hip-hop, just as long as they slip in a few hip-hop mixes through the night. I often find myself waiting for a weak song so I can free myself for the next chick... Ever danced for two hours straight because every song was "your song."

Many hip-hop clubs hire law enforcement for additional security. At Crown, we hire two metro officers on Fridays and four officers on Saturdays. It gives us an additional layer of security to help keep the riff raff out, and to let everyone know we're serious about providing a safe environment.

I'd say several hundred at the most. From what I remember I saw less than 15 tables.
