I gotta say, you may want to reconsider and go to Moon your first night out there Tuesday. I can't think of a more fun way to see the city on your very first night. The view is incredible.

You should at least plan on going there for a little while before heading to LAVO.

If you're dead set on LAVO then I would try and plan another night somewhere that gives you that bird's eye view of everything. If there is a city that was made for taking in such a panoramic view, Vegas is that city.

I agree, being your first time there it's worth it to get the birds eye view of the city. Moon isn't a bad club and it's a hell of a view. If you wanna plan the night with Moon, you can do dinner at Nove Italiano (great food) after eating they'll usher you into The Playboy club to have a couple drinks and then when Moon opens you have first access so it's a great way to go. Playboy isn't all that exciting, but it's cool place to see and has some killer views of the city.
