Not necessarily a thought process, just a flashback of my experience. By no means am I dissing rockhouse I had a great time there. I just found it interesting that others felt that way as well...

Oh I wasn't replying to you. I'm just saying that rockhouse is really... far from my tastes.

But like I said it's good that everyone can find their own kind of fun.

Rockhouse wasn't necesarilly my ideal scene but my friends and I stumbled in there since we were staying at Imperial the first time we went to Vegas, and we ended up not leaving. It was supposed to be a pre-funk but ended up being the night!

This guy and his pals need to head downtown. Check out "Gold Diggers" at the Golden Nugget.

If you strike out there, rent a mini-van and cruise through the apartment complex next to the The Palms (to the left I think) around 10PM. Keep your window down and make it clear that you each have $50 and are looking for a date. Pick a few classy ladies, throw them in the van and head out to The Red Rooster. Bring a healthy supply of condoms and an open mind -- but leave your camera phone at home. Will be a night to remember. I promise you. And you will get it done for far less than you would pay for a bottle of Gray Goose at XS.

Wow, this site is a great resource! Glad I stumbled onto it. I am visiting in April with a group of good-looking married guys and single ugly dudes. Where can we hear decent house music while enjoying reasonable drink prices and chubby, sloppy drunk girls? I don't care about being able to say I've been to XS, Pure, etc. We're staying at Mandalay Bay, if that matters.

Dicks last resort... No house music but 100% your spot! The name says it all! You could also pregame with beer pong... Save $, instead of cabs and catch monorail direct. This could be your Friday spot.

Damn, no love love for Rockhouse. Every time I'm in Vegas I do a daytime bar crawl at Bill's, Margaritaville, Rockhouse, O'sea's, and Carnival Court. I mean you might even get lucky and see a 7.1 there.
