I think Expedia quote me $198 resort fee for 5 nights at the Mirage? Crazy.

this was posted earlier on the mirage facebook page:

I am going to be staying there in April, but what does your daily resort fee of $22.40 include? It says 'select hotel amenities' can you further clarify?

Their answer:

The resort fee includes complimentary internet access (in room), unlimited access to the Cardio Center, daily newspaper available for pick-up at the Impulse Store and Bell Desk, robes for your comfort, and unlimited local and toll-free calls. At The Business Services Center; complimentary notary service, faxes and copies, and complimentary printing of boarding passes.

which is why i asked why it wasn't $15 anymore:

As of 1.11.11 it was raised to $20. If you reserved a room before 1.11, the $15 resort fee is still applicable.

That's not a very good deal. For me, Mirage has always been hit or miss with the deals.

did y'all know the resort fee for Mirage has gone up to $20+tax/day??? just CRAZY! wonder if all the mgm properties are the same...

The fee changes depending on what options you want

i do think that it IS probably related, maybe some of the other mgm properties are charging it on a services-desired basis to see how it plays out. either way, that's a lot per day for basically not much. its not like their rooms are dirt cheap

I just stayed at THE Hotel last week... I noticed the resort fees were 20 per day also...

I booked the Signature and its the same price. But atleast internet is included.
