I booked both weekend of July 16th thurs-Mon
And July 23 thur-Mon

Harrahs property wants to play games with me for the weekend of July 16th and give me shit rates 610 4 nights

Yet will give me great rates 149 for weekend of July 23rd

Why is the weekend of July 16th so damn popular?

Also a typical vegas weekend for me is a 4 day weekend thur-Mon

I just checked, and the rates are higher, but it still comps me for harrahs, and ip. Ballys was $80, and Ceasers was $540. Do you have a rewards account??

Oh and the rates are sky high because of that fight. We got lucky and have a comped suite at Mandalay for the weekend nights (I had a problem there last year that they generously fixed!) but it would have been over 1k for those two nights!

For you gamblers out there getting comp rates/free rooms, how much do you play to get that? I play craps...pretty low $10 usually, with about $50-60 riding on each roll.

get the club one card at Mandalay, I use the harrahs property program and they are very generous . Works for and at all properties . Rio , Caesars, ballys, flamingo, Paris, ip and harrahs.

I play 25 dollar hands of bj and usually cash in 100-300 each time.

Thats exactly what I play, only $5 pass line, but usually a total of $50 with numbers, and odds. I get comped at IP, Harrahs, Ballys, Rio, and min of 50-75% at ceasers, and paris. I posted what they were offering me on the fight weekend.

If I could I would! My bf was laid off back in October, so I've had to scrimp to make this happen, so I am not sure how I'd be able to save my pennies for a July trip.

Yup, I'm the one bringing home the bacon and paying all the bills! But he got a job delivering pizza (haha, oh I know.. but you do whatcha gotta do when times are rough!) so that I had some extra money to buy myself things for my trip, and spending money. He feels really bad that I haven't been able to go out or anything, so this is his thank you to me for sticking it out... Vegas!
